A Page Image Would Be Nice: Tainted By The Preview

Well, since this trope is the polar opposite of And The Fandom Rejoiced, I think having a page would help to better show the differences between them. It shouldn't be too hard to find some good visual examples, seeing as this is a somewhat common audience reaction.

Personally, I think we could benefit from using an image setup similar to the one currently in use on the And The Fandom Rejoiced, except with "Panel 1" showing something excited and "Panel 3" showing something about said thing that would incite concern (at best).

Also, Reaction Guys are probably a good idea. They're probably our best bet for all of this.

Maybe we could do a movie trailer? Though that might work better, for Trailers always lie.

What example were you thinking...because alot of stuff on Brawl....I see in a different trope

A Ctually you're right on that, I was thinking brawl, mainly because we got so many previews of the game before hand. But mainly what I thinking of, was the generic, smilar to Final Destination stages.

Honestly iiiiiit slightly has to do with the Broken Base that the Fandom is.

I'd have to agree....I love Sonic the Hedgehog too....but....the Broken Base....kinda intimidates me.

We could do Anime.Iron Man maybe. There was an awesome trailer, and then the series itself used such a simpler design style that a lot of people were turned off.

I don't think we should let the "brokenness" of a fanbase dictate how we should choose our choices. If they should present a problem for whatever reason, then they should be promptly dealt with.

Perhaps it's Fan Myopia clouding my outside-perspective judgment skills, but I think using the Sonic example would be a nice contrast to the Mario-related image currently in use on the And The Fandom Rejoiced page.

I like the Devil May Cry image.

If the DMC image fits the page well, it does seem to be a pretty good example of this trope
