Who is your favorite Ice Queen to defrost?

Morrigan? Miranda? Tell us.

Miranda in ME 2, though I've had precious little contact with that archetype in the games I play.

Can anyone name a non-Bio Ware, or, better yet, a non-Fallout-legacy (friendly reminder - my catch-all term for the specific subtype of RP Gs Fallout popularized; this means pretty much anything Black Isle, Obsidian, Troika or Bio Ware ever touched that doesn't have four-armed anthropomorphic dogs in it) character? Somebody besides Juno Eclipse, at least?

I'm sure it happens in tons of JPR Gs, being one of the big standard love interest archetypes, but I can't think of any examples right now.

Four armed anthrapomorphic dogs?

By this site's reckoning, most of those would be Visual Novels so they probably don't count.

[up][up]Referring, of course, to Max from MDK. The second one was co-authored by Bio Ware. Don't tell me you thought Bio Ware only ever made RP Gs?

No, I'd heard of MDK. I just know nothing about it.

I'd say Miranda. She had a damn fine ass.

Probably on par with Bayonetta's.

Solid Snake probably counts a little bit in MGS 1. Squall as well, but he doesn't defrost so much as vaporise. Lightning's a little better.

Jaheira is anything but an Ice Queen. She's actually the opposite. She's very hotblooded. She does go Dere Dere at one point, but's actually her cooling off, not heating up.

Oops. I read that as Juhani. My bad.

Come to think of it, I think Bastilla Shan is my fave. Especially when you tease her and she claims you're making her crazy.

Hmm . . . Mitsuru in Persona 3 is arguably a non-Bioware ice queen. Unfortunately, I didn't actually find her interesting. Partial credit?

Mitsuru's pretty popular. I like Aigis better, but there you go.

Given how much sexing there is in The Witcher, would any of the girls there count? I mean, you have to do all sorts of things to (oh God) warm them up... cool In the same vein, there's Fable and sequels, I suppose...

Honestly, romances are criminally underplayed in RP Gs. They're never developed enough and it always feel to me that developers tack them on because games like this "need" romances somehow. Quite frustrating.

[up]Considering she was the first character I thought of when I saw this thread: yes.

I liked Bastila a lot. Though I didn't want to defrost her so much as corrupt her to the dark side and take over the galaxy with her.
