[up]On Cartoon Brew? Only rarely do they have others post entries. It's pretty much never.

Amid probably wishes every cartoon was Worker and Parasite.

Whatever happens, NO ONE let Amid know that The Hub is scaling its profit back and decreasing the budget for their future shows due to "not finding an audience"!

I losed any respect I cpuld have for them the moment they criticized Lauren Faust work without even seeing it.

Sad because they seen to be more knowledgeable in cartoons than I ever will be.

Finally, his cynicism is put to good use. In this recent article [1] he points out the obscene annual salaries of Viacom's top executives and compares them to the quality of output from Nickelodeon, MTV, etc (he takes a jab at the never-ending reruns of spongebob, Jersey Shore-ish programming, and the like).

I see what he did there, and I actually appreciate it for once smile

[up]That article is not new. It was posted on January 24th. It's just in his archives.

thanks for pointing that out. For some reason I didn't notice. Either way it's still a pretty interesting article.

Am I the only one who feels completely stupid that I did not recognize this as a prank? I also feel a bit let down- if it were serious, CB would possibly experience how difficult it is to work with the usual type of client.

Am I the only one deeply offended that Amid recently made fun of people with aspergers, bronies, and one specific brony WITH aspergers?

The grand slam. He's really dug himself deep this time...but the worst thing is he REFUSES to apologize for it. That is deplorable beyond words.

I have a strong feeling that Amid is going to get A LOT hate mail just for insulting people who have aspergers. I should have posted this days ago, but the rant for CB has been made.

[up]Reading the comment on there, I noticed many people have never heard of Cartoon Brew before your video. Here's a thumbs-up.

And would you be interested in making a video about Cartoon Brew itself?

I'm not worried about creator driven animation dying.

I'm more worried about traditional hand-drawn animation dying!

I like how you mentioned CB's premature judgment on the new Loony Toons show. Although I don't particularly care for it and feel that there are some flaws, I don't see the reason for such scathing hatred. It's not really any more harmful than the Loony Tunes Babies show from the 2000s and I'm sure the kids aren't expecting Golden-Age material either.

CB's early judgment of it just came off as unprofessional and pretentious.

To tell the truth, I am medically diagnosed with aspergers and I'm think I'm kind of socially retarded, but I find that freaking hilarious. I can understand why people like MLP:FIM,after all, powerpuff girls was popular among boys and girls, but that was sad.

I've been losing patience with Amid's negativity for a while now, but that crack at folks with autism was just way out of bounds. It's a shame since I liked reading the blog to discover shorts I wouldn't have known about otherwise.
