Do we still want to do the scenery change? And, if so, could we decide where?

I haven't heard any objections, so I guess we're good for a scenery change.

Tagg was thinking Unova, and Crow suggested Sinnoh/Kanto since those areas haven't been visited or have any plots planned, if I remember right? I don't think I've got a preference where we go.

Well, we have visited them, it's just been a while and I think we should save going somewhere outright new for its own arc. And Kanto/Johto as a unit.

Though I guess we don't have anything formally planned for Unova either, but Tagg mentioned Unova-3 down the line and I like the idea of having it around 2 years after Unova-2 like it was around 2 years after Unova-1 and think it might be better saved for that.

Hm...I kinda like the idea of Kanjoh personally. But then again, I'm bad at this sort of thing and would prefer anywhere to the Ranger Regions right now. That, and I could do a few very minor things in Kanjoh for Jason. But, meh. Like I said, fine with whatever of we leave the RR cause I can then finally do something...

So, just to check, the characters are still in the Ranger Regions for now? (in case I get around to doing that Latias cameo)

Also, I still don't know how to deal with the Linnéa/Ray situation.

Right now we're still in Ranger Regieons, mostly around Sophian island in Oblivia right now. We haven't quite decided when/where to move out yet.

I don't know why Linnea and Ray are such a big deal, given how they never even met the J-Team. They could cease to exist and it wouldn't matter, and personally, I think such a retcon is the best bet.

DS: We are, yeah, though I'm not promising that won't change in the near future.

And, well, assuming you don't want to TS something to change their opinions, what do they think of the J-Team, the Illusion Project as a whole prior to its defeat, and did they have particular opinions of Echo or any of the admins?

Uill: Ray met at least Tagg and DS, though she was unconscious at the time, and Linnéa met Alyssa.

Well, Linnéa was glad that Echo took her and Ray in, although Ray (her other personality) didn't trust Echo, but came along for Linnéa's sake. After learning their plans, Ray would've been concerned that this would mean that he would cease to exist, as he worries that he will disappear once Linnéa no longer needs him.

They should be part of the J-Team by now.

Well, given Illusion is now defunct, unless they'd be more likely to go with Neo-Illusion or just go elsewhere, would they have any reasons not to join the J-Team?

OK, so tomorrow's the day the US demo codes get distributed. I just adjusted my Pokemon Trainer Club settings to allow promotional emails, so I should get one.

Umbra, could you maybe do this liveblog of yours in a thread on the second forum instead of here? I really don't want to have to turn spoilers on just because of this, and I don't want to know anything about the games yet.

And on a similar note, make another thread for new/changed/leaked features like we did with BW 2 and XY.

The fact that Deoxys has a remake theme excites me, not because it's Deoxys (though that is a valid reason to get hypetrain'd), but because the very existence of a battle song for the event-only Pokémon suggests that story events will be making a return. I missed those goddamn things!

Well, we could do that, yeah, but the times a spoilerblock for ORAS was brought up before now, it was shot down on the grounds that it was a remake, so, unless there's something new revealed people have a problem with hearing about this case we should be aware of for the future, this really should have been brought up when we were getting new Megas or something.

Actually, sorry about suddenly blowing up about that, Crewe. I just wasn't clear on what you do or don't want to see when it comes to new games in this case because I thought you were fine with everything ORAS-related up until now. You actually might not have been there the times a potential spoilerblock was mentioned, so yeah. If we do want to set one up for some stuff, I suppose we can.

At the same time, Sarah, unless I'm misunderstanding something, you called for leaked stuff to not be discussed here 3 hours after you commented on something leaked from the demo that was posted here. If you have stuff you don't want to know, that's fine, but when this is the first indication we've gotten people don't want to see it yet, we could make a spoilerblock that's more convenient for everyone from deciding what we personally don't want to see rather than assuming what other people don't want to see. I might have been guilty of doing this myself and, if I did, sorry.

So... Do people have anything they'd rather not know before playing the game, so we can move that talk to another thread or the spoilers chat? (I'm personally fine with anything that doesn't have to do with changes to the story, for the record.)

Threads on the PunBB forum are cheap, may as well have a spoiler thread.

I'd say anything different from Gen 3 that's not an obvious consequence of the Gen 6 engine could be considered a spoiler for that purpose. Like, you don't need to spoilertext that Team Aqua wants to shut down Mt. Chimney or that Sylveon exists in this game, but if it turns out that Ghetsis has a summer home in Sootopolis or something, best leave that to spoilers.

I wasn't complaining about it. I was making a suggestion. Yes, I commented on something that was leaked. That doesn't mean I don't think separating it would be a good idea. I don't have much time at this point in the day to say every specific detail that may or may not cross my mind. Please don't accuse me of contradicting myself when I didn't.
