Eskay/Umbra: There is a chance it would become relevant again, but for the most part everything is resolved in the ending and there no longer is a need to visit it. However there are things we could do with it after this arc, if it becomes a thing.

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."I'm talking more about it being forgotten in the middle of the arc, which is pretty much what happened to Rt AU.
Eskay: Oh yeah, hasn't RTAU officially been going for several months without any posts related to it while we wrap up Orre?
How are we going to deal with this particular elephant in the room?
Tastes better on the way back down.Oooooh. Well it shouldn't take that long. And what's different about this is if it's forgotten mid-arc people won't have much to do since the main cast won't exist in the universe and the OU characters involved are brought into it, at least with this first version of the plot I'm thinking of. So unless people decide to go "screw it I quit" that shouldn't happen. If there's not a lot of people driving the plot, it isn't happening in the first place. If the "screw it I quit thing" happens with almost everyone, the entire arc is being retconed or aborted because if people are going to drop out in that significant of numbers to where it won't move, it means it was a failure anyways and I won't restrain people for a mistake I made.
Also, and I should have mentioned this in the big main introductory post, but THE MAIN PLOT ISN'T EVERYTHING. Sure, by the sound of it if it does become a thing people will want to get through it ASAP, but I refuse to turn this into "Hey guys, I'm going to give you the Xenoblade experience through the RP!". No, what I'm going to do, if this happens, is make this a full on arc. Sure there's a main story, and we're cutting out 20-30 hours of gameplay to make it practical, but the people in it don't just have to play out the story like scripted actors. Like for example if I'm gone for a week or something, I'd have given you guys enough information to play around in the immediate town/area so it's not like posting stops. You'd always be free to do your own little side-stories and shenanigans, run your own NPC's and just have fun. The biggest thing is that characters would inhanbit this world I'd be allowed to adapt. It shouldn't ever be the point of everything is to just get through it, it should be fun, and people should be allowed to be creative. I'm not trying to take the game and play it out in the RP, that defeats the point. What I'm trying to do is adapt a story so people can have fun living in its world, and being a part of that world's story. If it devolves to "Go here. Beat villain. Talk a little. Go there. Repeat." I completely messed up.

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."@Xenoblade Arc: I've got no issue personally.
I'm going to take this moment to say that RtAU wasn't forgotten about, it was just that school got in the way, preventing us from continuing it properly, and it annoys me when people say it was.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.@ Verax: People from the OU actually visiting the 'verse is more workable, as people will want to get their characters home eventually and won't jump ship unless you handle it horribly. And why not use the game's world but an original plot?
@ Tagg: Thoroughly agreed, except for me it was even worse than school. >_>

Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Having trouble, Crewe?
Fixed Profile pageYou should take experiment lessons from Galvani.
I am attempting to use the scientific method to figure out what makes copy-pasting from Text Edit work with TVT formatting, but copy-pasting from a Word document in the same font with the same file type doesn't!
I even copy-pasted from Word into Text Edit into TVT, and it still doesn't work.
I'M SO CONFUSED.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!I believe you should take this particular experiment to the Forum Sandbox.
Tastes better on the way back down.Word uses the wrong characters. It changes the apostrophes to single quotation marks. Same with turning quotation marks into the curved versions.

Hello Morgi whose name is pronounced like Corgi.
I don't know you, but I just wanted to say that for some reason.
Fixed Profile pageHey, Morgi.
Curious, any questions you have before you start posting in the RP proper or you going to be asking those later?
"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceActually yes. How do I get started?
I plan on playing it at some point too.
But what Eskay said is my worry with any non-OU-Present arc.
