In regards to attributes, I kinda have been working on figuring out how to have Straw be aMind, and yet not have had his memory in the AU right off the bat. Mind you, I AM NOT TRYING TO GIVE HIM AN ATTRIBUTE JUST SO HE CAN HAVE ONE. One of the reasons Straw would be a Mind and not one of the others, is because going by the personality things posted a long time ago, Straw fits well with Minds. Some ideas I have been given in the past have to do with having the memory thing only work if the person knows they are a Mind. One of my ideas, if that one doesn't work, is that Straw's Tyranitar fear caused the effects of being a Mind to be blocked out. He has since seen how this fear has affected him by seeing his Mindscape. I'm not ev Xactly sure this idea is good though.

Any input from everyone else would be appreciated.

Well, judging by Tracer's last post, I'm never going to have the chance to RC Ammy for Umbra, even though I've wanted to help out with it.

That's a slight problem, because that's as bad as me "leaving all the work for Tracer to do"...

It's not really a matter of whether people are willing. The thing is, I'm pretty sure Tracer's the only one who knows what you want us to do with your Almer characters. If you want us to hold up with our promise, that's a problem that needs to be solved.

Edit: I only now realize this ties into what Tagg said about making assumptions. You left us the job with the assumption that we knew what you wanted us to do with it, when we don't. I'm not trying to say anything to make anybody angry. I'm merely trying to get some information so I can help you out.

Europe was incredibly awesome, but I need like two years' worth of sleep until I can function normally again. Last night's 12 hours just wasn't enough.

Attribute Item

What if, say, there are things (like pedestals, or something) in extremely remote and isolated areas throughout the world that can't be accessed by flying/teleporting, that when someone does something (lays their hand on it, says their full name, etc.) it reveals their Attribute, perhaps by making them glow a certain color or something.

And they can only be used once in [x amount of time], so every time we find one, we decide who discovers their Attribute, and then we have to find another one, or wait a while, so we don't just find eveyone's at once?

Conquest

At first, I wasn't sure whether I could accidentally participate because of Crewe's nature (which won't be such a spoiler hopefully very soon*), and then I went from ideas involving multiple curses to the "uh-DER" solution. Crewe's Ancestor will likely be named Kori, which is a heads-up to my solution for anyone who understands Big City references. :P

• I still need to know if anyone definitely wants to be at Crewe's re-joining. Anyone can show up if they want to, but I need to know who to coordinate times with besides Every.

Hmm... excellent point, Eskay, and I guess I'm assuming things on my end.

So, to help things, I will PM ANYONE (well, nearly anyone) intrested in R Cing a detailed summary of what I want done with my chars. It's only fair I give you guys some needed info if I want more than "just staying alive."

Oh, and hey Crewe. I would like any of my characters to be there, but especially Ammy, she could relate to your origins best.

Okay! Sorry this took a while, Tracer, but here it is, a guide to Team Iris. The descriptions are just the official bios from the game, so substitute terminology where appropriate (Vigilante force = Rescue Team, etc.). Also, these weren't out yet when this whole thing started, so if you haven't noticed some of these character traits before...that's why.

• Krom◊ — Lucario
  • The prince of Iris and descendant of the Hero King. Although royalty, he serves as captain of the vigilante force and personally strives to protect his country. He may seem unsociable at first glance, but bursts into enthusiasm whenever anything interesting happens. Breaks the most things during army practice.
• Liz◊ — Riolu
  • Krom's sister, princess of the Holy Kingdom of Iris and a member of Krom's vigilante force. Despite being royalty, she acts in a completely natural way, mingling with anyone regardless of their social class. Has the mentality of a child and often acts spoilt. She hops around more than anyone in the army.
• Fredrick◊ — Empoleon
  • A knight serving Castle Iris and deputy commander of Krom's vigilante force. Calling him extremely serious would be an understatement. He loves poking his nose into other people's businesses, but gets his priorities wrong more often than not. Likes building fires more than anyone in the army.
• Soiree◊ — Ponyta
  • A female knight who serves Krom's vigilante force. She has a straightforward personality, acting exactly as she thinks. Because she's cooler than a lot of men, she has many female fans within Iris and has trouble dealing with the sheer mountain of fan letters addressed to her. The worst cook in the army.
• Viole◊ — Sneasel
  • A noble from some country. Though he's always joking, he's actually a sharp and able man who rarely divulges his true intentions. He's apparently in search of a wife and, as such, asks out any and everyone in his path. He's at the mirror more than anyone else in the army.
• Sol◊ — Deerling
  • A knight who serves Krom's vigilante force. Kind and helpful, he's one of the few vigilante members with an ounce of common sense, yet is still kind of a scatterbrain. His hair is a permanent mess, as if he's just woken up. The biggest glutton in the army.
• Vake◊ — Axew
  • A fighter who serves Krom's vigilante force. He's mischievous individual who wears his heart on his sleeve. For some reason or other, he's always brimming with confidence. He considers Krom his rival and is always trying to compete with him. Misplaces things more often than anyone in the army.
• Miriel◊ — Misdreavus
  • A member of Krom's vigilante force. She's extremely methodical and a bona fide perfectionist, getting irritated when things aren't properly organised. Vigorously curious, she thoroughly researches everything that piques her interest. The person with the most personal belongings in the army.
• Sumia◊ — Altaria
  • A member of Krom's vigilante force. Silly, foolish and totally clumsy, even she considers herself a dunce. However she is able to bond with wounded animals and possesses a hidden strength that most people lack. She falls for absolutely no reason more than anyone in the army.
• Callum◊ — Graveller
  • An armoured knight who serves Krom's vigilante force. He wears a blank expression on his face and rarely speaks. His presence is sorely lacking and isn't noticed even when he's standing right in front of people. Not that it bothers him much... He's the tallest person at the table.
• Donny◊ — Tyrogue
  • A common villager from Iris. He's a typical young man who's good at ploughing fields. Has a heavy accent and a peculiar way of speaking. Because he's never stepped outside his village, he's interested in many things. He gets wavy hair more easily than others in the army.
• Ronku◊ — Scyther
  • A swordsman from the Kingdom of Felia whose skill with the sword is respected by even King Basilio. He's the silent and unsociable type, but gets flustered around females, making a red-faced getaway when they get near. He's the best vegetable peeler in the army.
• Velvet◊ — Nidoqueen
  • A beast warrior tied to no particular nation. Although she's the last surviving member of the rabbit Taguel, she doesn't particularly care about preserving her race. A strong and cool woman with plenty of common sense. She's the fastest eater in the army.
• Anna◊ — Charmeleon
  • A mysterious travelling merchant. She has many sisters who look identical to her, so many in fact that even Anna has lost count. As one would expect from a merchant, she's friendly and polite. She loves gold and wealthy customers and did I say gold? Has the most savings among her comrades.

I can also do the NPCs if you'd like.

On jumping to conclusions

I agree with this wholeheartedly. People jumping to assumptions just causes unessicary e-drama and eat up creative juices better spent RPing. Not only that, but I have seen it be detrimental to our relationships with one another and that's not healthy when we are trying to create a community here.

While this is tangentailly related to the subject of assumption. A few pages back, Tagg said he hadn't forgiven "those who took a Follow the Leader break", and I took that as a personal attack. You see, around the time Every and Onion had taken their break, I had fell on a really rocky patch with my family, my schoolwork and my mental health where I had to choose between the missing the RP for 2 weeks or flunking my classes and I chose the former. Not because I decided to spite everyone by picking the 2 weeks Every happened to leave to be all "GTG BRB trollfaec.jpg". And that damn upset me.

So yeah. Assumptions, bad. Even if you don't mean them.

On Conquest

Ancestor!Fool will be called "Tomoe Izumi" (Izumi literally means "spring", while Tomoe is a reference to the famous female warrior "Tomoe Genzo"), she'll weild a bow and is re-nowned for being an excellent marksman. Ancestor!Vyvyan is Ryuu Kyouki (Literally "Dragon Mad") and weilds a scepter with a Rayqauza figurine on it.

Although I've already shared this with Wolf, my plan for Conquest arc will be using the character called Iroha(Irohahime), as both my characters ancestor, taking mostly an appearance similar to Artesia. As with in the game, her perfect link is with Emolga, which I'll figure out a name for later. I'll also have a pic done for her by this Thursday, which will play a second purpose to illustrate what Artesia would look like.
