The easiest, most reliable way would be to explain why you chose "no" with more than "it makes me kind of uncomfortable" or a variation of it.
I try to put it into the RP as much as possible. However, sometimes that creativity backfires, such as with Loki.
Weird, I liked Loki...
And I'm pretty sure I explained my reasoning in more depth than that, but would be happy to elaborate if you like.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.I meant the whole having a multiverse thing. I'd consider that kind of big. And that's six examples (Crine has his DW ability as well) out of how many Pokemon? Lack can mean not enough, not just plain "none."
This signature is empty. Nothing to see here.I'm sorry, but I read that as "Having a multiverse was the worst thing we've done" and I think the rest of the RP community disagrees.
And as for the "lack" of DW abilities, they're kind of supposed to be rare.
Nah, it's fine. You trying to help during the process of planning it proved well enough that you've noticed the effort (although I can't help but wonder why you changed your mind).

I didn't really change my mind...I thought that Avenger being a part of the RP was a given by that point, and so I worked to make it as balanced as possible. But yeah, given the choice I would rather not use fake abilities in WAAPT (though Avenger may end up in my HC ).
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything."Worse" as in "more extreme".
This signature is empty. Nothing to see here. The difference is one of an original story versus an original mechanic. Building on the story is the reason things like R Ps and fan fiction exist. But the games/card game/anime already lay out a set of mechanics, and futzing around with them too much feels...off.
Actually, Wolf, only Odette is a DW Pokemon. Tulip is a regular Lilligant.
Im with Avenger. It *seems* like somrthing tgat might one day feature in the games, and you've worked hard to make it balanced. As long as it doesnt turn into you using Avenger to win every battle, im ok with it.
Hmm...
Styx, Mata Nui, Odette, Sol, Comet, Megatron, Repugnus, Soundwave, Aqua, Pierce, Mantisk, Ren, possibly Casval's Gyarados, (sort of) Minty, Emma's Cradily, Youko, Nero, Lucien, Sari, Skywarp, Elysia...I think there may still be more.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything. So, just thought I'd let you guys know that I'll be going on vacation tomorrow to our usual vacation spot, where we'll be until next Friday. I'll still be able to keep up and stuff since the hotel does have Wi-Fi and I'll be bringing along my laptop, but I probably won't be here as much as usual while there.
Have fun on your vacation! ^_^
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.Have fun on vacation, DS!
(And oops. I forgot that Tulip wasn't Dream World.)
Thanks guys!
So, on the subject of the Conquest arc, how will the warrior powers and warrior transformation be handled?
Having not played Conquest, I dunno really what that is.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.Transformations are basically Warriors "evolving". The powers are the abilities that each Warrrior has that can be used once per battle.
Um...speaking as someone with limited knowledge of the setting, it seems just like something that will happen, like mon evolutions and abilities.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.Well, I was on the fence about involving warrior transformations. If we decide that we do want to do it, we can look at the requirements for the various characters in the game, and decide what we like.
As for warrior powers, they can be handled the same way we'd handle 'mon abilities.
Or we could just not have warrior transformations, and maybe say that all of the characters are at their final stage?
That's what I was thinking, personally. It's a weird mechanic to translate. :P
I was considering a scene where Ancestor!DS and Ancestor!Veronica undergo warrior transformation sometime after Ancestor!DS realizes that the masked warrior on the Zebstrika was really Ancestor!Veronica all along, but it's not really necessary, I suppose.
Plus, I still haven't figured out how their armor and such would look, apart from some vague ideas on the matter.
If you figure out what you want their armor to look like, you can still do that.
Aww, but having our ancestors glow and metamorphose would be awesome.
Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything. On the subject of Conquest... Random, somewhat inane question, Pent, but does Duolis look anything like Fem!Pent? Or does she look vaguely similar, but different?
Contact Me!
What would that consist of though?
