Update: Moon just shipped but Sun is still in limbo because I couldn't get one-day shipping on both of them. Should I just go ahead and change Umbra Plays Pokemon Sun to Umbra Plays Pokemon Moon or what? It'll let me get the right evolution for Keaton off the bat, at least.

If it arrives first and you won't have any problems doing your planned Moon run on Sun, sure

If they're anything like previous Pokemon games, the version differences are subtle enough that it won't really matter. Plus, getting Keaton with no hassle should be a bonus!

OK, thanks to you guys and my sister for reasons relating to my starter, impromptu change in "main" version for G7 is a go.

(By the way, Keaton is going to be my Lycanroc. If you know anything about his namesake you'll know why I wanted Midnight.)

I never really used Swapnote more than once, so I'm kind of confused and amused by all the excitement this seems to be getting. ^^;

Also update, Gamestop also shipped Sun to me but I still don't know if they'll both drop tomorrow.

Knowing Gamestop's shipping, unless you do the fastest option, it'll take an extra day or two.

Speaking of shipping, Amazon still hasn't shipped mine.

Amazon have apparently been having problems getting enough copies of Sun and Moon to satisfy early demand. Shows you how much hype there is over these games.

So I'll probably get Moon first, since apparently that's the one that had one-day shipping.

I'm starting to wonder if my issue is because I ordered the Steelbook version, not one or the other or both "separately". The steelbook stock would be different than the regular stock. I preordered in August.

Getting all jealous at all you guy's disposable income, I'm gonna have to wait for it as a gift over Christmas hopefully.

To be fair on my end I preordered way in advance with a $100 gift card I got for my birthday, but good luck, Pent.

GAH XD I all the time thought I preordered them both... turns out I did not... now I have to quickly head to a Gamestop and pray to Arceus that the 1 in a Million chance that they actually still have them is a thing for me :P

EDIT: Just called at the Gamestop... apparently I did pre-oder Moon... but for some reasno not Sun... so 'Ill be away tomorrow to correct that mistake XD (Also I may have misunderstood you... I for some reason thought that they were out already and I missed my chance XD) Also... don't ask why I thought I did not pre-order them... mistakes have been made :P

The spoilerblock would normally end in a month, but we decided to extend it to Christmas (exactly a week after the original intended end date) because that's the first chance some people will have to even get the game.

I hate the fact that Leclerc shops don't give you the game today, only Wednesday. Also peoples of my country got the game today. Should've bought at Micromania tbh.
