IMPORTANT NOTICES

Sun and Moon news is due to drop tomorrow!

First off, remember our spoiler policy! Anything beyond what was mentioned last month aside from mascot names and type combos in regards to mons and new game mechanics goes in spoilertext, and any region/character/story spoilers go in the spoiler thread or spoiler chat (latter of which I can authorize entry into if needed) and stay there!

Second, said mascot names and/or typings are not unlikely to be revealed with tomorrow's info, so now's a good time to enter bets into my or Sergey's contest! To add incentive anyone who enters or has entered mine is eligible for Sergey's as well if they so desire! That means you can make yourself retroactively enter Sergey's too if you entered mine or enter both from the start!

On a coimpletely unrelated third note, doodleblog is running nicely even if I'm not updating it as often as I like (the rambleblog, by contrast, was meant to be more sporadically updated, though I've been meaning to post something silly to it soon), and I'm quite pleased with how my latest two drawings in particular turned out.

THE NEW SUN AND MOON INFO HAS DROPPED

Aaaaand first off for for the mascots the leaked names Solgaleo and Lunalaa were correct but none of the type bets were fully correct. XD Solgaleo is basically sun lion Metagross, including an ability with at least a Clear Body-like immunity to stat drops, where Lunalaa similarly has Confined!Hoopa's typing and a more mysterious ability that may help with its two double weaknesses. I'll have to be careful going back and choosing the bet winners. They also have signiature moves whose exact details are unkown.

Also, you get to choose between a wide set of initial PC designs and skin tones! Hopefully this means fuller customization comes back. There's also a bit more to Ilya's Hawaiian dinner Hawaiian J Witzz, a briefly-glimpsed character from before, and a new character plus more on the Alola region, but all discussion on that goes to the spoiler chat/spoiler thread.

...Also your Pokedex is a talking Rotom. O_o He kind of reminds me of Teddie from Persona 4, though let's all just hope he isn't just more generally unbearable to most.

Also, apparently Sun and Moon will be featured in Nintendo's E3 Treehouse as well as Nintendo's E3 having a whole Pokemon day, so look foward to that. For now tell me if you need in spoilerchat.

Also, I noticed both of them are weak to Ghost and Dark... Ghost/Dark night sky Legendary confirmed?

Also I already have very silly ideas for Yangverse!Solgaleo but won't be unveiling them juuuuust yet. >:P

I find it funny that the sun-themed legendary is weak to Fire, and the moon-themed legendary is weak to Dark. :P

Umbra: I happen to have silly ideas for their personalities as well! In fact, I'm thinking of taking them as my first Legendaries (assuming I can write shit consistently enough to make such an honour meaningful).

Also, regarding Rotomdex, I've seen Youtube comments theorising he can act as a Pokémon translator. If that is the case, I expect amusing posts about the J-Team realising they're no longer unique, stat. :P

So... since nobody really seems to have guessed any combo right... actually the closet we have are Barely Bodacious Bud (Liger Zero/Solgaleo: Steel) and Phazya (again Liger Zero/Solgaleo: Psycho) so both with 1 out of 4 right... seeing that I'm changing the rules to: Every type guessed right warrants the price... so congrats BBB and Phaz

Well... I'd stay clear of wishes for world dominance or true love... those end up backfiring a lot but srsly though the two you named are totally fine... I'm already chuckling while thinking about a good reason why RP!Sergey will do this

Solgaleo and Lunala being weak to Dark and Ghost likely means that Marshadow, the other one revealed via trademark, is Ghost/Dark. Probably an eclipse mon.

OK... Similarly, the only one who got a type at all right for my contest was Ori (Ghost for Lunala) so I'm changing up how the prizes are distributed a bit. I had five available choices:

• Lucario amiibo

• Greninja amiibo

• Tyrunt plush

• Seahorse travel cup

• Sea turtle travel mug

Ori, since you were the only one to get anywhere close you will get any amiibo of your choice I can nab from Gamestop, Amazon, or Play-Asia for a decent price (just in case offer me a wide variety of choices). The others who entered get the preset prizes as I see fit, though I know Zeal is getting last one since he really wanted it. Newf, Phazya, and Uill all still get their $5 autobottesla commission prizes as well.

Three things.

One: I'm seeing a lot of stuff that should be in spoiler text but isn't. Names of the Box Lendaries, their typing, weaknesses, and info about their movesets and abilities should be spoilertext'd.

Verax and Zeal have already gotten on my case for spoiling stuff the last couple of Gens and this stuff if on a much higher level of spoilers that Mauville's ORAS redesign or accidental Corocoro leaks.

Two: Ren's Pokesona Dungeon will start Next Friday. Due to the nature of the Dungeon story-wise I'll need as many participants as possible - even if you can't respond every day the fact that there needs to be like 9/10 of the contractors there to give this the weight it needs in-universe

Three: The order of Dungeons was Changed. Verax requested that RP!Verax's Dungeon would be last due some changes he requested, basically adjusting the difficultly of the dungeon to the level of the group where all but RP!Verax having their Initial Personas or Pokesonas. That way the group can't just burn mobs and minibosses to the ground through sheer DPS

I'm not sure if Dex!Rotom factored into our calculations, but I think everything else from this point forward is under spoilerlock.

Yeah, I specified mascot details are A-OK, so only thing I can see so far non-spoilered when it should be is Rotomdex by Uill. (Uill, you might want to spoiler that bit up now.)

I'm not sure about Game mechanics though, since we seem to change our opinion on talking about that every time the subject comes up.

I thought it was established new game mechanics go under spoilertext?
