Touken Ranbu: Outdoor Ibun Touken Camp (刀剣乱舞 あうとどあ異聞 刀剣野営), also shortened to Touken Camp, is a Slice of Life Manga spin-off of the popular browser game Touken Ranbu, and focuses on the Sword Warriors going on camping adventures using the Saniwa's equipment.

The manga is illustrated and written by Ikra, and serialized in Monthly Princess. It began publication in January 2023.

Touken Camp contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Ikra, the mangaka of the series, tends to make Mikazuki Munechika's eyes yellowish green rather than blue with yellow crescent shapes.
  • Adaptational Friendship:
    • A lot of the swords that end up camping together have no interactions in the browser game, but are shown here to be great friends. It helps that they all live together in the citadel, so they would have had to interact at some point.
    • While most of them don't interact despite being from the same school in the browser game, the Sanjou swords camp together in Chapter 7 while on a mission, accompanied by Shichiseiken, and are shown to all be good friends. It's also established that Tsurumaru Kuninaga, who was forged by a descendant and disciple of Sanjou Munechika, is well-acquainted with the Sanjou swords, and he brings Mikazuki Munechika and Kogitsunemaru along with him when he crashes Ookurikara's solo camping trip.
  • Bears Are Bad News: In Chapter 3, Mutsunokami encounters a very large and aggressive bear and tries to make himself bigger to scare it away, but Ookanehira in his sleeping bag ends up being more effective.
  • Cast of Personifications: All of the characters are famous Japanese swords given human form.
  • Cast Full of Pretty Boys: All of the Touken Danshi are male, and there are no humans present in the setting.
  • Covers Always Lie: The covers do not always indicate which swords will camp together. For example, the page image depicts Mikazuki Munechika (in the back) with the Okita group swords Kashuu Kiyomitsu and Yamatonokami Yasusada. However, Kashuu and Yamatonokami would end up camping with the Shinsengumi and Shinsengumi-aligned swords, as well as Shinano Toushirou, while Mikazuki would go on his own camping trip with his fellow Sanjou swords and Shichiseiken.
  • Drink-Based Characterization: The three older Sanjou swords (Mikazuki Munechika, Ishirikirimaru, and Iwatooshi) enjoy green tea, while the younger two (Iwatooshi and Imanotsurugi) prefer hot chocolate. It's played for laughs at the end of Chapter 7, when Iwatooshi asks Imanotsurugi to refill the kettle with more cocoa, and all three quietly think to themselves that they're craving tea.
  • Ensemble Cast: Each chapter follows a different group of swords as they embark on their own camping adventures.
  • Food Porn: All of the food the Touken Danshi eat is painted in mouth-watering detail.
  • The Ghost: The Touken Danshi borrow the Saniwa's camping equipment for their own adventures and they mention them from time to time, but the Saniwa never joins them or is seen.
  • Ineffectual Loner: Ookurikara wanted to go on a solo camping trip and was pretty fine by himself… that is, until Kogitsunemaru showed up with better tasting food.
  • In a Single Bound: Tiny Imanotsurugi can hop up and across trees several times his height with minimal effort.
  • Mythology Gag: When chasing Imanotsurugi to find a good picnic spot, Ishikirimaru is the slowest runner and falls behind, referencing his limited mobility as a unit in the original browser game.
  • Shōjo Demographic
  • Sixth Ranger: Some of the swords that end up camping with each other are usually swords with a historical connection, such as the Shinsengumi and Shinsengumi-related swords in chapter 1, but occasionally an unrelated sword will accompany them, such as Shinano with the aforementioned group.
  • Slice of Life: The series is simply about the Touken Danshi going camping. While there are mentions of the characters' missions and the Historical Revisionists, the series doesn't actually deal with any of that — there's only good food, bonding, and a bit of humor.
  • Snowball Fight: In Chapter 12, the Touken Danshi organize a snowball fight, splitting into two teams; The white team with Nansen Ichimonji, Heshikiri Hasebe, Yagen Toushirou, Gokotai, and Kenshin Kagemitsu, and red team with Yamanbagiri Chougi, Namazuo Toushirou, Atsushi Toushirou, Shinano Toushirou, and Gotou Toushirou. The actual snowball fight happens offscreen, though, with Sanchoumou revealing that the white team won by a landslide.
  • Stargazing Scene: In Chapter 7, the Sanjou swords and Shichiseiken take a break from their mission to drink hot chocolate and watch the stars. As shooting stars start to fall, everyone prays and makes a wish.
  • Team Dad: Azuki Nagamitsu and Sanchoumou act like parental figures to all of the child-like tantou, albeit separately.
  • Wolverine Publicity: Series Mascot Mikazuki Munechika has been on the cover of every release thus far to help promote the series.
