Dead Rising 2: Off the Record

Excuse me while I resurrect this, I had just heard about this game recently(recently being about two days ago when my GI subscription got delivered to my rock) and I'm happy to find out about it, I've always wanted the chance to take another spin in Frank's shoes.(Nothing against Chuck though, I like him as well.) Hoping infinite mode makes a return, and Franks run cycle still looks the same.

It's just a shame about Frank. Apparently, after the first game, his career hit rock-bottom. As a result, he has to go onto Terror Is Reality for its new zombie-wrestling competition.

While on break from matches, though, he gets wind of the conspiracy, and the game kicks off proper.

I played it at E3 - it's better than both Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2.

Details man. Details.

Let's just say it went from a DLC to a $40 game for a reason.

For some reason, I've associated Dead Rising with Saints Row for about four years now. I didn't know it was because I'm a prophet.

Awesome! I forgot Chuck was the co-op partner, so it's nice that the video reminded me.

FOUR player co-op, I believe.

Sandbox mode? Hellz yeah.

I doubt Stacy would go around killing zombies since shes part of CURE. Maybe Rebecca Chang, since she'd be aloe since it's a what if? story.

Well, I'm just guessing this because it looks like Frank West is acting very much OOC in this version of the game.

I wonder, is Frank the protagonist of the series? I mean, he appears in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and I just wished Chuck is also included.

Yes Frank is the star of the series. Unfortunately so, in my opinion.

Chuck would've made a better star.

I was so happy to find out about this game the way I did, by subscribing to Capcom Unity's You Tube channel. I had no idea w that they were doing this until I saw the Captivate '11 trailer. Squee!

Saw some of the livestream from PAX, and the blood looks funny. Maybe it looked funny in the other games, and I just didn't notice, but it looks like Frank is drowning in ketchup.

I look forward this; it's the game I want the most this fall, if not the whole year. I didn't know that this had a thread until now, and I can barely even contain my Squee from that. And JAF 1970? You're only helping.

I think I'll resurrect this with some info (that's obvious):

Sandbox Mode has been announced! Dick around with your friend (or yourself) through Fortune City! Kill as many zombies as you can, get a lot of PP from photos, or even have a drinking contest with your friend!

But, for some less obvious news, there are good hints that Off the Record is gonna have a real different story, according to the achievement list:

It appears that Chuck and Stacey are now psychopaths, along with some returning ones, such as TK, the Twins, and Carl. Chuck probably went insane due to Katey turning, and he's blaming Frank (sort of justified, since Frank DOES accidentally let the zombies out more or less) for it. I'm excited.

Of course it's different. Frank told you if he'd been there, EVERYTHING would have been different.

Sandbox mode? The entire game was a sandbox mode!

To that last achievement there, I'm going to draw Denyce as a BAMF taking on the zombie apocolapse like if she was the main character now... If I don't get lazy...
