This is.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.^^^ To be fair, this game really needed a major mechanics overhaul.
Also, it's free.
^ Yoshimitsu being able to actually use his anti-air as an anti-air fills me with delight. If they're fixing Yoshi, who knows what other improvements they're making: now I'm semi-glad I didn't get around to trading in my version of the game.
Quicker throws is pretty good as well.

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. To be honest, after the Updated Re-release of MVC 3, I doubt anything Capcom can do will even remotely surprise me anymore.
Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either. You saw the part where this was a free update, right? It's basically a big patch to the game, instead of doing a bunch of little ones.
I know it's free. I'm not complaining (if anything, it gives me a reason to actually play S Fx T instead of editing colors all the time). I'm just talking about the concept of treating a crossover game like an actual sequel and going through the effort to fine-tune it is just so alien to me.
Although if the 90s taught me anything, it's that Rare was Too Good to Last and that Capcom has an absolute need to be working on something for fear of imploding on itself.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.I still have to get around to picking this up at a store. :|
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadWait 'til after the superpatch comes out.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Well, we will have to see if the hype returns.
I want the game, but I want the better version, which I can't get without online.
For once, I actually want the Updated Re-release. That's the main reason why I haven't bought the game already, because I was waiting for it. :/
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySo many awesome nerfs and buffs where needed. I open the page and the first thing I see are Ryu nerfs. Wonderful.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Ryu was that powerful?! I thought he was supposed to be well-balanced?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyHis aerial tatsu had no counter agaisnt and his donkey kick was positive.
He basically could do these all day without repercussion.
Lots of blockstun, moves that didn't have lots of blockstun tending to push the player out of punishing range, and very quick moves with great ability to transition between them without delay basically meant he could pressure you all day and you would only rarely be able to safely counter attack.
Add that to the fact that barely anybody but Ryu and Ken themselves had effective anti-airs (I think Hwoarang and Sagat had decent ones too...) - which also resulted in problems with other characters - and you've basically got a "do nothing but sit there and get hit" situation.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It's a long shot, but if there are new copies of the game manufactured next year, will they carry the 2013 update on the disc?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyProbably not. Capcom only hides things on the disc that we don't want. Kappa

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Bob's walking speed has been changed to be the same as Ken's. That can't have been an accident.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySo, a question.
Which Tekken incarnation in the game would you say has the best Street-Fighter-y movelist? Like, he/she would be a good movelist base for a future new Street Fighter character.
It's been a while, but for a character who feels "Street Fighter"-esque, off the top of my head I think of Hworang (whose style and moves in this game remind me of a few characters like Adon, Fei Long or Gen), though he does feel a bit Ko F-y as well, particularly in the way some of his combos work.
But essentially if they slowed down some of his moves and gave some of those same moves (as well as others) a bit more range of effect... yeah, he'd fit in pretty well in a regular Street Fighter game.
Asuka relies a lot on target combos into specials into supers, so she at least has the procedure for SF-ing down. A lot of her moves probably wouldn't be effective in the more straightforward style of SF, though, particularly as she stays in place a lot without actually being a turtle-y character.
