I want a Laser Disc so badly... Hey, did you know that it supported the widescreen format of several movies before the DVD came out? (Why is the European LD of The Black Cauldron in its original widescreen but not so with any of The Rescuers LD's?)
Wow, this topic has derailed.
My middle school actually had a couple of Laser Discs. As far as I can remember, the quality sucked. On another note, this derail reminds me of every Grand Theft Auto Let's Play I've ever seen.

"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt." - Some guy with a snazzy hat.Re-reailing the thread: I'm now starting to think that Sony's being run by schoolchildren. Whiny ones. Otherwise they wouldn't try to wish away the competition and call them poopyheads =)
Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are....sorry, just seized up for a second at the idea of no Dark Souls.
A TRUE SCOTSMAN fights with the teeth of his present adversary, ripped straight from the mouth to use for stabbing.-Tobias DrakeIs it really demonizing to call a grown man immature, for trying to call a game console juvenile for adults to use, despite that they are also trying to sell their own?
Anyhow, a CEO called a competitor stupid things in an interview. What else is old?
Sonic hates SOPANope, that ain't it. Stupid and run by jokers Kicked Upstairs a few too many times is more like it. I don't really care about inter-console fanboy bitching, being a member of the oh so dying PC Master Race (despite having consoles of all competitors) and all but every single piece of news from Sony in the last years resulted in my face being palmized.
Huh. You know, that whole cherrypicking and goalpoast-moving line of reasoning is strangely familiar. Smells vaguely canine too.
^ One year does not an entire generation's corporate policy make (lest we forget how Sony managed to bungle the PSP's initial lead over the DS, its failtacular handling of the PS 3's initial software library, and how it hasn't managed cultivate a perception of the Move as something beyond a Wii clone with better sensors). Also, I'm fairly certain that most people don't out and out despise Sony, their products are by and large very competently designed, they're just a little annoyed at their execs' apparent hubris, which seems to pop up a bit more often than it does among Nintendo's and MS' execs.
And "Reality" is unveiled. What did it want...? What did it see...? What did it hear...? What did it think...? What did it do...?You know, are you sure Sony isn't run by schoolchildren? Specifically the South Park kind?
Well, the obvious answer is "yes," though with comments like Tretton's, I'd venture that some of them may still be children at heart, and not in a good way.

I remember a year or two ago, we had a damaged floppy disk that couldn't be used.
We put it in a CNC mill. Good times.
