How about "I'm Just Asking"?
@Radix: Don't troll. Eddie gets to decide what TV Tropes is about, because he owns the place. If he decides to scrap it tomorrow and replace it with animated GIFs of Boy Scouts singing Kumbaya, then that's what will happen and we can all just suck it.
Fortunately, that's not the situation here. We (meaning Eddie, the mods, and a sizeable chunk of the troper body) have collectively decided that what we want this site to be about is Tropes and the appreciation of media thereby. It is not a place for you to get your rant on. However, in recognition of the fact that people really do want to opinionate, we've helpfully provided a Reviews section. That way you can spew hate on everything you vaguely dislike and the rest of us can get on with the business of the wiki.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"@Fighteer: I wasn't trying to troll, honest.
The remark about complaints I made above was about complaints in JBM, not about the name change.

I think the name should stay it just bugs me. What's wrong with complaints, other than being annoying, changing it to head scratcher makes it identical to fridge logic.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackIs there any reason this thread is still open?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoTo allow people their chance to weigh in, suggest alternate names, or try to convince Eddie that this is a completely awful idea and to not do it. We want to give people a chance to give their opinion, so they can feel like they were heard and that they had a part in the decision.
Besides, the issue's still open, and there hasn't been anything super negative, so I don't see why it should be locked.

“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Thank you very much for this; I've been frustrated for a while now at how many tropers are using the JBM space as free license to complain. A rename is definitely called for; I can't think of any JBM pages I've read that didn't fall into complaining at some point.
But, to an extent, isn't that kinda the point of IJBM? To let Tropers vent frustrations about the things that irk them?
I really dislike the name-change, but there's nothing I can do about that now. It kind-of just lumps Just Bugs Me in with Fridge Logic, and while B can cause A, they're certainly not the same.
Sigh.
No, not really. Just Bugs Me is supposed to be a Q&A type of environment where you can access the wiki Hive Mind to resolve niggling issues you have with a work. It is not about "JBM: How much this film sucks", and we're trying to keep it from becoming that, which the name has contributed to.
This wiki has never, from day one, been intended as a repository for bitching, whining, hating, flaming, or any other form of undirected and pointless negativity.
Edit: Personally, I continue to see little or no difference between Just Bugs Me and Fridge Logic and wish we could just combine the pages into one Fridge namespace that has the whole shebang. Excessive splitting of subpages contributes to the confusion over what goes where.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"No, that was never the intent. The intent was more like "It nags at me, why the writers did this, rather than that, or even why they did anyhting at all about such-n-such."
Venting only feeds into and encourages more venting, creating an endlessly useless cycle of negative feedback finally ending up at an ear-piercing screech utterly without meaning. Good way to sell Excedrin, but not good for anything else.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI realize I could've worded my post better. Essentially, I meant to say that IJBM act kind of like conflict-sponges. With everyone heading there to go "Why was X derailed into Y?" or "Did the writer/developer/whathaveyou even think of the implications of Z?", the wiki proper often suffers less in terms of neutrality. Take the Metroid Other M page. With the exceptions of a stubborn few tropers, most issues with the game are either observed in the Subjectives, torn apart in user reviews, or inhabit the (mammoth length) IJBM page.
"Headscratchers" sounds more like it would be a portion of the Fridge-X Subgroup, which are rather more objective ("Where did X get that gun?" when X was never shown in the presence of any guns beforehand), than IJBM, which can vary from person to person ("Did they derail Y?", when there is ample evidence for both yes and no).

Darth Wiki is for arguments, this is for questions
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoI still heavily object to "Headscratchers", especially if the icon is being kept. It evokes a strong image of creepy crawlies.

Let's try this again. "It Just Bugs ME" implies that the article in question may only be confusing to the particular troper. "Headscratchers" implies that the article in question or more or less confusing to a wide audience.

which makes keeping the current icon seem like a good idea to me.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoDo most people really find headlice to be that off putting? I mean they certainly aren't pleasant but still that shouldn't be a factor regarding this rename. There are far more disturbing trope/namespace titles on this site.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Fighteer 103,
Off-topic and this might need another thread, but:
I've always wondered about that, what are we doing about people thinking they have a License To Whine outside of Darth Wiki? What's the best way to change the current precedent to discourage whining?

Nice alternative name. I agree.
I'll see if, when it's renamed, I can bring on a question about a part of Spirit Tracks that left me intrigued. See ya!
I just feel that creepy crawlies are a very common thing to get freaked out by, in the form of either squick or phobia, and the evocation of such should generally be avoided in namespace titles that will show up on every work page there is.
Besides, have you ever had head lice? It's definitely shudderworthy. Not to mention, it itches like hell, and itches are one of those things where if you think about them, they happen (for some people, anyway). Overall, I really think the name is a bad idea.

I notice that the Fridge namespace sometimes contains not only a Fridge Brilliance and a Fridge Horror section, but a Fridge Logic section, which is used exactly the same as IJBM. So I am in favor of merging IJBM with Fridge, which has a name less evocative of whining.
Now, count up your sins!
Crown Description:
@Fast Eddie: So basically, everyone's criticisms and suggestions will be ignored in favour of those who agree with the name change? Circle-jerk much?
(Unrelated, but your sig—wasn't TV Tropes supposed to be all three of those?)
