I went and looked up the Ai Yori Aoshi VN and was amused to see that there was both a multiple endings tag and only a single heroine tag. If there was a Miyabi ending I might have gone and played it.
Anyway, there are several Negima and Love Hina V Ns out there.

I know there's a Stellvia Of The Universe Visual Novel / Dating Sim out there. On PS 2, if I remember right.
And of course, there's the army of Prince Of Tennis games by the makers of Tokimeki Memorial and Love Plus, Konami.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeAce of Noctali mentioned there were games based on Stellvia. The current article on Wikipedia describes the gameplay of a PS 2 and a GBA game — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stellvia_of_the_Universe — though no sources are cited, lol.
I really should've remembered the Prince of Tennis games... The series has always been in Weekly Shonen Jump, but a good amount of its official licensed games are otome (reverse harem) games.
^ It's AceNoctali. That's the first time I see my nick mangled like that, kudos for the creativity XD ^^'
Yep, Game FAQS too mention a GBA Stellvia game, but I've never seen anything about it, so I don't know if it's a Dating Sim too or another genre.

In trying to find licensed games, I used the Visual Novel Database and searched by popular consoles. I then looked for the results. Only a few of the visual novels based on other media were ever on Windows.
There's a recent "literary adaptation" tag on the VNDB. One of the three titles mentioned there is a freeware visual novel in English called The Dandelion Girl. Apparently it was written by /jp/ regulars, and based on a short story by Robert F. Young.
Something I've been thinking about lately — visual novels that are spinoffs and adaptations of other types of media. I'm focusing on official products for now (with the exception of the Miku visual novel)... but if you can think of some fan fiction games, go ahead and mention them.
Anyway, here are some examples I found, thanks to the Visual Novel Database. I tried to keep alphabetical order...
So yeah... I almost never play untranslated games, so I don't have experience with most of these. The Ai Yori Aoshi visual novel seemed as forgettable as a filler episode. Though I liked Love Hina Advance, and while it has good graphics for its system, it's nothing special.
Anything I missed? Any opinions on visual novels based on other media?
