Then get the game and wait for a PS 360 to become the new Gamecube.

Every time there's an HD Sonic game, the Wii gets something to completley blow it out of the water IMO. I've noticed that over the last few years.

1. 06/Secret Rings
2. Unleashed/Unleashed SD
3. 4/Colors
4. This/Adventure 4/5?

Sonic 4 is also available on the Wii.

You're lucky Sonic 2006 sucked, since Secret Rings doesn't exactly blow anything out of the water. Except 06.

Unleashed SD was heads and shoulders above the HD versions.

I almost guarantee you the reason that inspired the use of potbellied Sonic is the backlash from the online Sonic community over Sonic 4.

Having played both versions, eh, I can't exactly agree with this.

After browsing some threads on IGN, this fanbase never ceases to amuse me. Seems like everyone's already forgotten about the success of Sonic Colors and have gone back to saying Sega haven't made a good game in years.

Also annoyed at people who are 100% convinced this game will be amazing just because classic Sonic appeared in the teaser.

I'd chalk it up to an extreme case of Nohamotyo. They appear to literally have the memory span akin to that of goldfish.

I fail to see how anyone could think the SD version of Unleashed is better then the HD Version.

Yes, but the Wii version of Unleashed had pretty barren level designs and somewhat confusing controls. Not to mention the amount of content that was cut.

Yeah, they cut out so many features.

Like needing to collect medals to open mandatory stages.

Personally, I think that might have been an improvement.

From what I've seen, each version had its pros and cons. Which ones make the superior game is up to you.

I know, that was sarcasm.

From what I've seen it's not so much the IGN boards forgot about Colors that they didn't think too highly of it to begin with. I can't judge since I've never played it (just playing devil's advocate here), but I'm not suprised that there are people who weren't gaga over it.
