Has anyone here been keeping up with season 2?
Because its been absolutely stellar so far, and todays episode, "The Job", is probably the best episode of the series so far imo.
Lets just say this show takes Status Quo Is God very seriously.
I've been missing a lot of episodes, trying to sort of catch up.
"The Job" was fucking awesome. Loved seeing the universe tear apart all because Richard got a job.
Apparently Brian Blessed will be appearing at some point.
I was running a bit hot-and-cold with the new season until I saw “The Job,” which may be the best episode of the entire series thus far! The car ride alone contains SO many freeze-frame worthy moments!
I MUST SEE THIS!
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!This series really loves to make sure that every episode involving Penny should be resolved as heartwarmingly as possible, doesn't it - I like it, the whole "goofball with a constantly irritated girlfriend" bit was starting to grate on me, and it's nice to see that this show largely averts it.
So far I enjoy this season fairly well. I don't know if I could say I have a favorite one so far, though - what I like most are certain gags and moments in all the episodes together: like how in general Darwin is becoming a master of lampshading and cheerful snark this season.
I enjoyed The Fridge, and became a lot funnier when I ran with the assumption that Nicole has been missing her anger management classes for a while - I liked the episode anyway, though I hear it's a Love It or Hate It bit because of Nicole character there.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Where I can watch this, because the dubbers in Latin America are becoming too lazy, and I grew tired of repeated episodes, and cut openings and endings
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/We're not actually allowed to link these kinds of things anymore, but if you don't mind torrents it shouldn't be too hard.

Just saw the most recent episodes - it's pretty interesting how they've tweaked Darwin and Gumball's personalities somewhat. Darwin's less of a straight up Cloud Cuckoo Lander and more of cheerfully oblivious yet simultaneously wise and snarky version of The Lancer. They've kind of moved the "tell Gumball he's doing something stupid" role over to him, but they always lampshade or mock it somehow.
Gumball's, still crazy, but he's got even more "shortsighted and childish yet somehow mature and intelligent about being shortsighted and childish" in there.
Y'know what's random? In the previous season my favorite character was Mr. Small, and I'm not entirely sure why. The guy was just funny. And me already thinking him pretty funny makes his increased Chew Toy status even funnier.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So, today I saw the Spoon, reminded of the New Spongebob episodes, didn liked it
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/Really? The Spoon is one of my favorite season one episodes specifically because it shows how differently this show does the "goofball main character" bit than Spongebob - while Spongebob is more of a flanderized idiot, Gumball actually acts dumb in the way a real kid might - oblivious, impulsive, but well meaning and innocent. The Spoon is one of the best examples of that.
Plus Nicole is awesome.
The only time the show reminded me of Spongebob (and a part I didn't like) was when Darwin and Gumball were tormenting Larry in "The Laziest."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. You pretty much addressed everything I like about this show! XD
Granted, Richard can get Spongebob-annoying at times, especially since he doesn't have the kids' age excuse. But generally, his stupidity manages to render actually funny situations.
Show's been renewed for a third season (same approximate length as the first two).
Got THE DVD at Best Buy yesterday for $10. It was an awesome buy. Definitely one of my top 3 favorite CN shows (not counting anything considered anime).
Let's hope CN doesn't treat it like crap like they're doing DC Nation, is all I'm saying - I actually like this show, so I want it go get good airtime!

This is where I, the Vampire Mistress, proudly reside: http://liberal.nationstates.net/nation=nova_nacioWell, it's official. Darwin's definitely picked up a bit of Only Sane Man in the new season. And it seems like we get him lampshading something at least Once an Episode.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It's a comedy show, so odds are it'll be treated much better than an action show not named 'Ben 10'.
It seems the more we learn about the Wattersons, the worse their financial state turns out to be.
We already knew they have a literal Limited Wardrobe—some of which Richard's fishes out of the trash, most lack shoes or pants because they can't afford them, and their dad keeping a job would destroy the universe.
Now it turns out Nicole making $950/month was considered good times* and they haven't recovered from losing $24,000 even after 12 years (so either Nicole isn't making much more or Richard wasting it on stupid things continues to foil any attempts at saving up).

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. You mean Anais?
Er, yes.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.If you remember, I mention BRIAN BLESSED was going to guest-start some time this season. Now we know when: in the Christmas episode, playing a hobo that may or may not be Santa Claus.
EDIT: Correct
EDIT: For realz

Best part of the Remote Slow motion Big "NO!"... followed by Anais picking up the broken remote pieces.
