For Uncover the Truth, you need to do a whole different quest first. One that's only available starting Chapter 7/8.
All I need to know really. Alright, here comes plot.
Edit: And there goes plot.
Wow. Jin laid out some sick burns and curb stomps so hard, Rex was still feeling it days later. Nothing quite shatters your confidence into little bitty pieces like getting your ass beat down by the World's Strongest Man.

One Strip! One Strip! You might actually catch up to me. Mainly because I've been behind on sidequests and also because I'm busy this weekend and won't really be able to play.
Reaction Image RepositoryIf you get the chance, do Boreas' mission. Fill out his warehouse stash, give him trust, and give him food.
Edit: Too late. I pray your level is high, because Chapter 7 is an entire chapter's worth of That One Level.

I honestly didn't find chapter 7 to be that bad. The abandoned factory was way worse.
Hmm. I suppose I can still buy the food for Boreas stuff. It's probably gonna be pretty hard without both Pyra and Mythra though.
Guess I'd best prepare myself...but first, I think I'm finally going back to Zelda. Been a while.
One Strip! One Strip! At least in there you can still do blade combos with characters other than Tora.
Reaction Image RepositorySo... Zenobia's sidequest complete, maxed out Soul for Ursula, and unlocked Vale on Nia.
Should I be glad about that? I look at Nia's driver arts for Spears, and get disappointed at lacking a driver combo art, but she does give a 15% ether mod...

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I assume you mean Vale?
Vale is Nia's best option for a Megalance user thanks to that Ether mod. Don't worry about the lack of a Driver Combo art, they're not the be-all-end-all of combat.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Not really. Because what's hell about that section is that you're stuck to having only two characters, and its unlikely that either one has the ability to tank and its unlikely that you'll be able to give everyone just attackers and blitzkreig everything.
Edit: Misread post

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Being unable to attach Aux Cores to your partner is a real problem if you go after the Unique Monsters, since the biggest one there has devastating spike damage. I went on to beat it with just Rex, equipped with Pyra, Boreas and Ursula.
Maybe I'm getting the chapters mixed up. Apologies. I do remember a UM that stood in the poison water and couldn't be lured out. Eventually beat it with Tora.
That's basically my go-to strategy. Beat it with Tora.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. The only unique monster in the infamous part of chapter 7 that I didn't beat the first time through is the one that's standing inside a pool of acid. My stupid party members didn't understand to stay far away from the edge of the bridge so that the boss can't knock them off and kill them via environmental damage.
Well, that and an enemy that you won't even know exists unless you specifically look for it.

2 has sold 1.31 million units as of March 31st.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Good legs for a JRPG. I expect that to continue with all the updates still to come.
Adding to that, XB 2 is now the best selling Xeno game ever, shooting right past Xenogears lifetime sales of 1.19 million.
Can't wait for the next one!
Just don't put Megalances on Nia. The Ether mod isn't worth it.
Is that scythe going to be considered a new weapon with new arts, or are they going to pretend it's an axe or something?
Maybe make it the same as Roc's weapon? I know it's not quite the same, but they're similar.
Reaction Image RepositoryThis is why people think they can get away with stuff like gacha systems.
Because we buy it anyway.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. It's the least egregious Gacha system I've seen, closer to 'Mons in execution than any proper Gacha.
I haven't dared try my luck with Team Fortress 2's crates...
After getting my copy back from a friend a week ago, I am now down to the last five blades before starting ng+: Dagas, Dahlia, KOS-MOS, Ursula, & Zenobia. Fucking finally got Godfrey last night.
I guess six blades thanks to T-elos.
Welp, time to grind so I can farm this Arduran so I can grind this gacha.

Right, after working on filling out Affinity nodes, and taking care of quests, I think I'm at the point where I'm ready to get back to the plot.
The only quests I have left to do are Bearing her Soul (Ursula needs on more point in everything, but I don't really want to wait around for it, or at least, I don't have enough to do while I do that but play Tiger Tiger), Precious Yearnings (which I currently can't do until I get to a whole new area) and Uncover the truth (and I have no clue where to get the stuff needed for that).
So screw it, plot times!
One Strip! One Strip!
