Nopon Wisdom 3 becomes available at Affinity 4, not 5. Huge difference, I hit it around chapter 5. If you want to speed it up, give Tora a pouch expansion, buy 20 cheap items from the staple foods category, and let it boost her affinity naturally.

I just pulled Agate on Nia, and she's got a FANTASTIC design, skill set and affinity chart. My only regret is that she's on Nia, who I want as a Holy Knight (HLR HLR TNK) instead of Morag or 5. In a perfect world I'd have Azami on Rex instead of 5 to round out Rex's weapons and elemental spread.

So I'm having trouble getting the "Speak to [Blade] at the inn in [town]" to be able to view their respective Heart to Heart (and thus unlock another skill). Do they have to not be in my party? Do they need to be on a mercenary mission?

Used all of my 27 Common's on Five.

Got Vale and Electra which is nice, except I might need to swap Electra to someone else later.

Since I have zero other electric Blades but two on Five.

So chapter 4 is quite possibly the WORST chapter in the entire franchise.

Everything about it screams filler, chore, mind numbingly frustrating or bad anime tropes.

I never felt this angry before playing a video game.

It may very well surpass Tokyo Mirage Sessions as Nintendo's premiere Anime: The Video Game.

There was really only ever one moment that I thought was "too anime" for my taste and I thought that it rebounded nicely from it.

I already paid the 100,000. The Nopon Wisdom 4 door is inside the room you reach after making that payment. As far as I can tell, there's nothing inside that room except a Landmark, a Chest, and that Field Skill door, so presumably the thing that Boreas needs is behind the skill door.

You Failed a Spot Check then. Turn around immediately after entering. It's to the right of the front entrance door. Like, directly to the right. You'll need Boreas on hand to trigger the cutscene.

Hell, fast travel there and it should be in your field of vision.

The door you're worrying about is the rear entrance door.

Actually, turns out I didn't fail a spot check.

The actual problem is that the required cutscene doesn't trigger unless Boreas is one of the Blades you have equipped in your active party, rather than just being one of your many unused Blades.

Just finished the game with playtime clocked in at 80:40.

If you buy that super-expensive Blade Core in Torigoth and use it, there's also another deposit in that warehouse, this time being a shitload of cash. Better start getting used to salvaging!

Edit: Speaking of salvaging, are there any such points in Tantal? I know there aren't any in Uraya, but I'd like to start development in Tantal and get some treasure while I'm at it.

Folks have figured out a renewable source of Overdrive Protocols, but there's a catch;

You need to max out a four-crown-rarity generic Blade's Affinity Chart and then release them. Instead of just getting Boosters you get an Overdrive Protocol. And apparently you can only ever get four-crown-rarity generic Blades from Legendary Core Crystals.

I didn't even know that rarity 4 ones existed. Then again, I've only found one Legendary Crystal.

I'm around 40 hours in and just got my 5th permanent party member.

I've also only ever gotten two rarity 3 commons.

I guess that begs the question of is there any place you can reliably farm Legendary crystals?

I heard that the 'easiest' way to get Legendary Core Crystals is to farm them off some specific level 80something Unique Monster, and that very few things can drop them at all.
