[up] Work with what you have for now. Use gear that has gem slots if you can. And some of those notes might be a bit of Foreshadowing.

I suppose. I'd probably gain max 10 AGI by stripping, but if I got myself a bunch of gems I could boost it past that, have defence and not have to look at Shulk and co running around in shitty looking crocs.

Don't worry about it for now. Just equip whatever gives you the largest numbers.

You're playing with such small numbers early on that armor is vastly preferable to start with, since even at maximized agility for that point you're gonna get hit a lot and with no armor it'll hurt. Agility takes greater precedence as you level up and especially once you have some agility gems.

I assume throughout the game the stuff with the biggest numbers with gem slots will be what I want.

Should I just strip everyone?
No.

There is, however, the famous Naked Dunban build, which works pretty well and saves having to buy armour for him.

The naked Dunban build is interesting, but you lose out on a lot of customization for him thanks to gem slots plus a shit ton of armor.

As far as I can tell, the skill states Dunban only gets +10 AGI when nude.

Gems would give him more than that. Well, gems would also have to make up for the AGI loss from armour, but that stuff seems to not weigh much in the first place.

He gets 30% agility. Plus a later character has a secret skill that boosts most of your primary stats by 20% when you have no gems equipped...

Dunban is the one guy who's potentially better off naked than in light but heavily-slotted armor.

Unadorned Beauty is kinda key for Naked Dunban. So no gems for you.

Well, I think I managed to complete every quest in my New Game Plus.

So, my Wii's ability to read dual-layer disks crapped out.

I transferred my XC data to my Wii U, but... it looks really shitty (Well, shittier than usual; XC's character models weren't exactly pretty to begin with). Is there any way to fix this? I tried setting the Wii U's resolution to 480, but that didn't solve anything.

I beat all the Superbosses with Shulk/Dunban/Seven party. Pretty good party. fairly accurate, can topple lock all the way, deals a crap ton of damage, even if boss wakes up Shulk can pro tect the party and/or topple it again.

Now that I beat them all, I feel a bit... lost. Sharla's fifth skill tree still hasn't been unlocked yet (screw her), there are still quests to do, and immigrants to invite, but after Avalanche Abaasy they feel bland by comparision.

I used Shulk, Seven, and Rrrrriki personally. Shulk for Party Gauge building and Monado Armor, Seven for raw damage, and Riki for healing, Happy Happy Time, and DOT effects.

I find Dunban's Heat Haze builds party guage faster. Healing is not even a problem with my team because Dunban and Seven heals so quickly (not that bosses have a chance to stand up). Dunban's critical hits deal comparable DPS to Riki, and he is fantastic in chain attacks (which happens every 7 seconds with this team) due to having Steel Strike, Soaring Tempest, and Worldly Slash.

I like having Melia around. Forced Topple too good.

Like seriously. How is a clumsy kick by a spellcaster one of the best attacks in the game?

EDIT: TBH, part of the reason I use Melia is cuz I like Jenna Coleman's voice.

[up][up]Not too fond of Melia's topple. It charges slowly, hard to use in chain attacks, takes up two art slots, and relies on Melia's poor agility.

Personally, I found Melia's topple to be really good. Spear Break is excellent for starting a chain since it pairs well with so many other arts, and both it and Starlight Kick charge fast enough at higher levels that they're very spammable. Plus Melia can afford to spare the two art slots, or at least I wasn't missing anything for their inclusion (I think my final setup was Summon Bolt/Summon Earth/Summon Flare/Summon Copy/Spear Break/Starlight Kick/Burst End/Mind Blast, with Burst End being filler).

Melia is my favorite character in the game and I will defend her to the ends of both titans if I have to.

Sadly, I don't have any suggestions for making Xenoblade look better on the Wii U, and I played through the entire game on my Wii U without noticing any issues with the visuals.

Starlight Kick cooldown: 22 seconds

Steel Strike cooldown: 16 seconds

Wild Down cooldown: 14 seconds

Monado Cyclone cooldown: 7 seconds

Dunban, Reyn, and Shulk builds Talent Gauge faster and has more opportunities to topple. Spear Kick's total animation is also pretty long.

It has the benefit of not needing someone to inflict Break first, though, and Monado Cyclone uses up Talent Gauge that could go to Monado Armor.

Um, I don't think Break is that much of a deal, with Shulk constantly spamming Air Slash and whatnot. Monado Armor is unneeded when the dude can't stand up and Glorious Vision grants you free Talent every time you see vision.

Then again, a lot of this is splitting hairs- Every team of three is at least kinda busted. Even Sharla gets some shenanigans, if fewer than the rest.

I sure said that!
