Ah, I'll have to check it out sometime. In the meantime I believe Necroscope86: https://www.youtube.com/user/necroscope86?blend=1&ob=4 does a pretty good job.

MoominBiscuit and Super Graffiti, two english gentlemen who play terrible games that didn't have as much coverage as others. Most of the videos have at least one really funny moment, in no small part due to some of the games having very obtuse elements to them.

I like him because he doesn't swear (burgers!) and he just seems to be himself. He doesn't rely on gimmicks like some lp'ers I've watched.
My favorite Moomin Biscuit LP is the Inspector Gadget one. Anyone who loves L Ps of bad games should give that one a watch, the game just gets worse and worse as it goes on.
I really like Playing With Mah Wii. So much so, I created the page myself (The page needs more work, and I wish I had time to do that). I think he is a great Let's Player who interacts with his fans a lot, and has a variety of content on his channel. He has a couple video series on his channel, one on Mario Kart 8 and one on Team Fortress 2.
Some L Ps I like from him are Earthbound, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Sunshine, and Pokemon SoulSilver.
This guy really needs a lot of love, because he has 28k subs but it feels like 2k.

Goddammit, Schezo...I think the best solo player I've seen is CPCGamer, not that I've gone looking for very many. I feel a little bad that I haven't watched much of him lately because I'm only enticed by the retro games, and that channel used to be about the Amstrad CPC.
Beyond that, uh, I recall finding a few good players of just MegaMan games, but I suppose that leaves them stuck in a niche.
I love Research Indicates' playthrough of Jurassic Park: Trespasser. It's the only LP he's done and it was done years ago, but it's unlike any other Let's Play out there. At times it feels like you're watching a nature documentary, and it just has a very easygoing tone throughout. There's interesting tidbits about Trespasser's development, it has some funny moments, and it's just great walkthrough of an overambitious game.

The Strawhat NO!, one of my favorite L Pers out there.
Here's some highlights from past LPs. It's hard to pick on from that I'd recommend watching because a) there's a lot of injokes that probably won't make sense unless you've seen past L Ps of theirs and b) because they're so funny. I will say that you should watch all of their Bomberman and Zelda lps. Bomberman esp. due to it being where a lot of injokes come from, the commentary in them is hilarious, because the games themselves get so weird you're wondering what was going on when they worked on the solo player stuff. Just a warning to fans of the series, though, they tear into the games. Mostly due to how stupid and/or bad the single player modes can get.

Well, there was another topic kind of like this, but the guy was only asking for video LP recommendations, and I thought we should have a topic to discuss LPers who don't have the relative fame of people like slowbeef, Raocow, Chip Cheezum, BillyMC, etc. I'll get the ball rolling:
Now that Feinne's Persona 4 LP has finally been included in the LP archive so that non-goons can see it, I'd like to recommend a different screenshot LP of the same game (available at this link). It starts off as something of an MST before gradually evolving into a first person narrative, and this particular interpretation of our silent protagonist is given a fair deal of personality, much of it snarky (LPer is apparently a fan of My Life Is A Goddamn Mess, though Seta starts off a bit more affable in inclination than Minato), with his commentary almost equaling the amount of dialogue in the game itself. It's nowhere near a 100% completion run, but he does finish the S-Links for all the main plot-line characters as well as a few others. He also deals with the fact that the game allows you to have more than 1 girlfriend in a fairly clever manner (vague teaser: the 2nd confession is 'accidental' from a storyline perspective and Brotag actually angsts about it for a bit).
EDIT: That wasn't overly chatty at all.
