Tell some stories about your GTA experiences here.

San Andreas: Effectively declared war on the United States, six star wanted level, many great battles took place:

The Battle of Pershing Square: Seven man group, killing loads of police and army in the square, police station, when I was left with two men, I retreated into the storm drains.

The Battle of the Los Santos Storm Drains: Running from bridge to bridge, killing anyone who jumped off to attack us, shot down loads of helicopters that finished off my squad, killed at the Ganton bridge (shot dead by choppers, two soldiers and about 10 officers)

  • new life*

Air Assault of Las Venturas: Got into Hydra and destroyed The Strip, shot down and ran to safety.

Pursuit of Carl Johnson: 5 Stars in a police car, broke into Restricted Area

The Battle for the Restricted Area: Used minigun to kill any police shooting me, helicopters and the helicopter I used to break into the main area.

Tell your stories!

GTA III: Turned on ITSALLGOINGMAAD and WEAPONSFORALL. Attempted to seek refuge at the local TW@ and survive for as long as possible.

I wish they had cheats like these in GTA IV.

Crazy drivers + weapons for all + pedestrians attack you + exploding cars + no cops = BATTLE ROYALE!

GTA iv: TLATD: Get a bike going max speed slamming into the front of a sports car, fly onto the brooklyn (forget the GTA name for it) bridge and survive.

Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?

Using the "Flying Cars" Cheat, flying to the top of the tallest building, and driving off into the crowd.

San Andreas: one of my favorite activities was to spawn a Hydra with the cheat, get in and fly around. And then strafe the freeways, getting my wanted level to max so the military would send jets after me, and then dogfight them while Freebird played on the radio.

GTA San Andreas: Attempted to survive a state-wide run (Los Santos to San Fierro to Las Venturas, or the other way around) with a six-star wanted level, while driving a single Rhino tank.

San Andreas Multiplayer had lots of potentially great moments, but my memory is a bit fuzzy on that.

GTA IV: After finishing one of the missions, the 5-star wanted level ended up sticking for some reason. Realizing that I had to get outta dodge ASAP before the cops surrounded me, I tried taking one of the tunnels to get out of Alderney... only to find out that it was blocked. What resulted was me getting into massive shootout and having to constantly change my cover position between two concrete pillars due to the cops coming from the tunnel entrance, and the other cops arriving from inside of the tunnel.

Eventually one squad car got too close, and I managed to quickly kill the driver and his passenger. I took the car tried to gun it out of there, but didn't get very far since the police quickly opened fire on the vehicle and damaged its tires. I at least managed to make it to the ports by using the large over-passes as cover from the police helicopters, but I forgot that the ports offer very little cover to hide from aerial threats. Wasn't much longer afterwards that a police sharpshooter took me down.

One time I stole a VTOL jet with my brother, who sat on top with a rocket launcher to take out helicopters, and we strafed across highways shooting civilians and police. Eventually a police helicopter hit us and we crashed, although we both survived. Then we had a running gun battle on the highway and escaped in stolen SWAT van. Oh, and later we played GTA. [lol]

Vice City: Taking over the army base. That is all.

In Vice City, when my brother attacked the army base, it said things like: "INTERNATIONAL NEWS" and "STATE OF EMERGENCY" on the top.

This one time in Vice City I was trying to escape in a helicopter with the police chasing me. I was over the water at the time trying to make it to land as the police chopter was firing on me till my bird caught on fire. Land was just there but I wasn't gonna make it in time so I ejected to a watery demise.

In what had to be THE luckiest moment I've ever had in the series, my chopter fell faster than I and exploded, and the explosion was enough to throw me onto dry land with some health remaining. I didn't survive the police chopter picking me off before I got in an car, but that was still AWESOME!

I waged a one-man war against the police station in "Vice City" like... I think 4 separate times, three of them getting up to 5 stars, the most recent up to 6.

I also waged several 20 min+ long stand-offs in the parking garage in GTA III, one time deciding to drive off the roof and haul ass.

Then there was my most recent adventure: celebrating my unlocking of the tank in "Vice City" by (have taking it to a safehouse and saving) paving a path of destruction to the airport, then goofing off until I managed to flip the tank and caused it to explode above the ocean.
