Ditto.
About the time that the computer was trying to Hannibal Lecture me, I took to reminding it that it was made by humans and will break one day. It was fun, even if it did nothing.
And it prepared me for the final puzzle.

I have a message from another time...Hehe.
It's kind of hard to get mad at the computer when it can understand so few of your words. I mean, seriously. It didn't even understand "drink blood". How superior could it be?
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderAh, I remember that game. Occassionally irritating, but not terribly hard. Ends the way you'd expect
I can't seem to figure out the code for the keypad.
Oh. 1904 then. And it worked.

I have a message from another time...That was fun. I laughed at the part where it cuts off your wrists

This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet. When it told me to guess a number, I said "Pi."
Why I am afraid of fences.Had a bit of trouble with the random number part, but other than that easy as pie.
This is still a signature.Yeah, other than the first keypad and the number guessing part, it wasn't hard. I like how it ends.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia! It was more fun telling the computer that if it liked, perhaps one day humans could learn to build it a soul. Then it could die. :D
But somehow,◊I beat it by listing hatred as an emotion. Since it hates me, it realizes that hatred is, indeed, an emotion, and that it is imperfect.
Why I am afraid of fences.I tried to eat the padlock, but it didn't understand. Pathetic machine.
I also tried guessing -4 when it had a number between 1 and 100,000, and it got angry at me. Same thing with 100,001.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Played this. Now playing Viricide or whatever.
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅ...can you actually do that? If so, what commands?
Heh. :3
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅIt's a nice story with a couple nice twists, but the author reallly really needs to have played some IF classics (especially Legend's, those had Mind Screw with the parser WITHOUT being morbid and offensive). This sort of Mind Screw breaks very easily when the parser is stumped by the easiest of predictable phrases. Still, niiice =)

ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅEric The Unready and The Spellcasting Series, to start with. They had the most parser-raping fun.
"I couldn't understand what you just typed, I'm just a dumb, underpaid parser, don't report me to the parser guild, please, I will lose my license!"
Easter eggs for doing unnormal (the most entertaining was how every single girl in Eric The Unready has an excuse for not having sex with you, sometimes going through Refuge in Audacity) stuff, intentional mangling of words when looking around so you'd have to think on it, and of course seventeen ways of typing in a command that will do the same exact thing - I nearly ragequit YFYIAR because it expected me to "open the box", not "unlock padlock with key", something any weathered IF dude tries first in a game that advertises itself as smart.
EDIT: WHAT? There's no page for Eric The Unready? How Did We Miss This One?

Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.Just type "unlock padlock". That works. If you typed "help" you would learn that it prefers simple commands.
See, I said "use key on padlock", and it worked.
I have a message from another time...I had the misfortune on being raised on I Fs that berated you for using that sort of point-and-click-type commands. The conditioning apparently holds well.

Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.The second code for the random number generator thing for me was 5918. I GOT THIS BY TRIAL AND ERROR. It was fun.
WTF?
