Red Vs Blue General Discussion

I'm thinking they do a dance of some kind. Church is waaaaaay too central to rvb as a series to do away with entirely. It's literally never stuck before, why would it now?

x4: Sorta, I guess. If anything, it'll be like how The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings are the Red Book of Westmarch that Bilbo, Frodo, and Sam wrote.

The Season 13 trailer is more... dramatic, but it doesn't really tell me anything. I liked the Season 12 trailer more. So far, Season 12's been my favorite season of all.

That trailer was..... Dark.....

And it, you know, didn't give me much hope considering that It would be really awful if Church had died. I mean, when people talked about him saying "this is the story of how I died" I had hoped he was talking about the whole story of his life as Leonard Church previously, but the trailer was pretty unambiguous about that. It's clearly about this particular story and that's frightening.... And difficult considering how many times he's died and how hard that is to make stick. Most of us have had to deal with him die at least twice. We're going to be sort of emotionally drained by now.

Hey look, Two Four One Ten is going to interview Miles Luna next week!

First part of the interview is here. Key points:

• So Miles apparently wrote the scene with Carolina watching the holographic recording of York on the island in Season 10.
• Burnie just asked Miles out of nowhere to direct Season 11.
• While the Chairman was always meant to be behind the situation at Chorus, Charon Industries wasn't put into the mix until about halfway through Season 12. And it seems that Charon was a throwaway company on a coffee mug before The Reveal.
• Miles really likes Captain Flowers.

So that's where the Counselor went, and his name is Aiden Price. Sharkface has returned too (I know he's technically known as the Flame Soldier, but that's not a catchy name). And Locus and Felix are such badasses.

Lastly, CGI is a lot better than in Season 12.

A lot better? A little more polish, and that the sort of shit I'd expect from a more adult-oriented Pixar!

[So for those of us who are lazy and can't decode all of this... Red vs Blue Season 13's first episode came out today. Sponsors got it a day early.

I have high hopes for this season. Please do not disappoint us, Rooster Teeth, though considering their record, I find that almost impossible.

I'm getting a feeling that this season is going to be more on the action and drama side of things.

Which, for me, is a bad feeling.

Awesome CGI! This season will be awesome!
