I want to major in engineering, now that I know that I enjoy building stuff. I also want to minor in writing, but I don't want to be an English teacher, like what Motree suggested. I'm sorry, but I don't have the patience to teach.

I'm... also really tired. '_'

I'd personally enjoy being a music teacher. High school band director would probably be my absolute perfect job, because my experience with our own band has been so amazing... I want others to be able to experience the same thing. And I believe the arts - music especially - are an integral part of our history and our lives. They connect to our learning, and also allow us a way to express ourselves in ways that we would never show otherwise. They open up our minds and help us become more open thinkers, inspire creativity and ingenuity. The very same ingenuity that got our race to where we are today- and sadly, people seem to have forgotten that and the arts, as it were, are a dying art being gradually pushed aside in favor of the sciences and engineering. It's rather sad... And I want to carry on the traditions that have inspired me, the gift that is music, and hopefully change the lives of others in the same way Mr. K and Mr. O and this band have changed mine.

... ... Holy shit, that whole thing was incredibly cheesy and sappy. Buuuuuut it's how I feel. c: Go ahead and feel free to tease me. *gets off soap box*

[up][up][up][up]Sigh. If only music/theater career in Malaysia isn't so underpaid and under-appreciated.

Sporty is good. Shorts are nice. Can't wait. =D

[up][up]My absolute perfect job would be musical theater actor or opera singer. I'm working on it. =D

I'd certainly like to work with a musical theater production and/or opera. I'm kind of a musical theater/music junkie.

Random Post! I was researching for a school project and found this on one of the websites. I thought it was hilarious and kind of ironic.

Specifically, we see the lily in several Tarot cards, namely the Magician card, Temperance card, and the Ace of Pentacles card (in traditional Rider-Waite deck renditions).

In the symbolic language of the Tarot, the lily also holds symbolism of purity, innocence and fertility. Additionally, the lily symbolizes vulnerability, and the freedom to be ourselves, as well as allowing others to be as they are too. The lily is a symbolic flower of health and provision. In a reading, the lily can signal growth, development, and a quality of innocence in our lives. Depending on the surrounding cards, the lily may also indicate new relationships and births.

...Watch out Demon. :)

... Phhhwwww. *snicker* That's a win right there.

Also... Finished fem!Prosecution. Coloring looks REALLY bad because my dark blue pencil decided to be a cool kid and not work right... so the jacket's coloring looks odd and the lines became hard to see in my attempts to salvage it.

She looks sort of stuck up or condescending, which is good, given the Prossies are sort of arrogant.

The backwards is really going to throw poor Key off. He may be fluent in English, but he had to learn it and didn't know it right off the bat... And still occasionally has to think about some words. He'll need to think about all that for a second.

This place is unusually quiet today.

And yeah. I've also noticed that a lot of the people who joined haven't been posting lately...

Discussion board, I believe.

As for posting activity, things tend to be pretty quiet until noon (Eastern time), move a little quickly until three, stop for an hour or two, and then pick up again by five or six until midnight and sometimes all the way through the night if it's Friday.

EDIT: Currently, people are playing with a huge piece of bubble wrap in the band room. The mark of professionalism and maturity, mind you.

Would Colt be pissed off by Key's "T"s, seeing as in his profile you mentioned he doesn't mind if they're spoken like in a Romance language? Key's a native French speaker, so... His "T"s probably have a slight accent.

Right. In response to Tenorphin... "T"s in Romance languages such as French, Spanish, and Italian tend to be not as harsh as "T" sounds in Germanic languages such as German or English. There's (usually) less stress placed on its pronunciation if it stats a word, and it is often silent within or at the end of a word. In addition, "Th" sounds as well as most if not all (consonant)+"H" sounds are pretty much nonexistent, and if you see it in a written word it's usually pronounced much differently.

For example, the "th" in the French word "thé" is not pronounced like "the". Rather, it is a cognate of the English word "tea" and is pronounced more similarly to that.

It's easier to explain verbally, when I can actually say it aloud to make my point. Kind of hard to do on a computer. You can look up clips of French speakers on Youtube, and it's pretty easy to notice how it seems to flow easier than English. Romance languages are BIG on ensuring the words flow together smoothly and softly, as opposed to ending and starting abruptly as in Germanic tongues.

Sorry, class started. Short break right now.

To answer your question, the pronunciation doesn't count, although presumably the language does—I.E, if you spoke to him in a language without the T or t shaped letter, like Japanese or Hebrew or whatever, he would only mind a little.

Whereas if you spoke in spanish, english, latin, et cetera...yeah, he'd be pissed. Doesn't matter if it's a, "Thuh," sound or a, "Tuh," sound. He will still try to stab you.
