Considering it's interupting Johnny, it's someone who wants to talk to Johnny. Which could only be Forge. He seemed to have been awakened earlier and will probably bring him into his spirit world to get him up to speed on spectral stuff (and preach morals).

The one who warned Max was probably P.J. who followed him to school to watch his back.

I assume(d) Max because that black energy is coming from somewhere. Could still be Johnny, though. Black energy is fairly common.

Yes. It's kinda grey, if I'm remembering right. But while the black spectral energy is definitely coming from Max, it's not clear if there's a tongue of it coming off the last speech bubble or if that's just from the way it's positioned.

Max already knows that it is not Jeff. Why would the BERG tell him that?

Last comic, his words had a special speech balloon. His words mirror those earlier in the arc, he doesn't speak like Cody ("punish him"?), and we never see his eyes.

I think it's just Paranatural being super anime again.

Isabel already tried to warn him, but he didn't listen. Then "Jeff" betrayed him, and he realized she was right all along. The imposter took advantage of Cody's trust in his friend; hence, "punish him."

Plus, I mean, we already had Cody acting like an anime antagonist during the whole planball thing, this is well within the bounds of that.

Get hype for final countball
