Pvtnum's having problems with the router.

Yes; Red's comp had a viral problem that ended up doing some wierd funky stuff with Firefox, and for safety, I had her disconnect all the comps from the router to prevent my machine and the kid's netbook from getting anything.

I'll troubleshoot when I get home, run some scans, and see about getting stuff back up.

It not likely something too horrid. Pvt probably needs to run the comp through the full gamut of maintenance in the Emperors name to plese the machine spirit.

Could Red or Lance spawn in an enchanting table,now that the game is released for real? I kind of need it to start up my buisness.

Also, do you need to re-boot the server or something? Because I can;t get on.

I updated without backing up....although being the one cursed, I might have an excuse for that...

What's all this about backing up? Doesn't new terrain code only kick in on newly generated chunks?

Okay, so it seems to be rather difficult to connect to my server. No idea why - port-forwarding is the correct internal IP.

Yea, still not working for me.

I have feeling the new update introduced yet more bugs then it fixed. I can't build on any open server at the moment. I can harvest but I can not build or place blocks.

I'm going to see if running a new map fixes it. But SMP log-in is really buggy at the moment.

No need for the backup files anymore, the server map survived just fine. The reason it is still down after my panic virus problem is that the new virus protection we're trying is a bit hard to navigate. We need to figure out how to allow exceptions through the firewall, then the server should be good to go, old map and all. Sorry about the inconvenience everyone.

And yes gamer, I am willing to spawn you an enchanting table as a gift from the late Yog Saris, we shall avenge his death!

Btw I have solved can't build issue somehow.

I have to make an exception for every IP that tries to get on, as I'm using new anti-virus software and it's rather strict. Avast wasn't as finnicky as whatever the heck we got now.

So if you can't get on, shoot me a PM, and I'll go through the access logs and find your IP and enable it - which means, if your IP changes, I'll have to add it again.

After an UNFORTUNATE period of noncomunication (mostly stemming from being trapped underneath my laboratory after a disasterous yet unrelated experiment), I seemed to have pulled a Rip Van Winkle. In other words, I honestly have no idea what age it is. How many years has it been? Has our castle blown up yet? My internet has been nonexistent while I was gone.

Anyway, I'm back. TIME TO DO SOME MORE SCIENCE! FOR SCIENCE!

(Yeah, I finally have my internets back. Need a lot to catch up on. Also Pvtnum can you put me on the server again?)

(I got on the server before, so I'm good.)

I'll make sure ot go through the logs and add appropriate IP's I see attempting to access it.

I can no longer access the server. It keeps spitting back a bad server id error.
