R.I.P. Tom.
Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.I like Space Jam. Yeah, ya heard me.
Anyway, MALK! Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Se7en, Goodfellas...
Actually, from that list, the only one I didn't see during the nineties was PF.
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.Yeah, I had pretty protective parents, so I don't associate those with nostalgia. I'll give you those, but counter with Scream, I know What You Did Last Summer, Johnny Mneumonic and Highlanders 2-4.

Toonami was the main thing that I watched as a child. It's how I got to know about most of the anime I know and still love today. I miss it greatly. ಥ_ಥ
AC:NL Dream Address: 5200-2582-5967I miss Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. (I know, not really 90s, but still)
They've never tried to re-create the atmosphere again, to my knowledge. Primal Screen was great, pity they don't do much work for CN anymore.
I hated the boy bands as a young lass cause I was bugged that they weren't even attractive.
I did love Hanson, though.
/hangs head in shame
Also, thing about nostalgia with me is that I can still recognize something is/was crap but I'm still drawn to anything that triggers a strong memory of any kind
Emperor Wu liked cake, but not exploding cake!I miss finding Garfield funny, though that was probably due more to being a dumb kid than the nineties.
Fun fact: The nineties made me think I didn't like music until I listened to the Beatles. Later, I would realize this was a sign of the larval form of a classic rock snob.

AC:NL Dream Address: 5200-2582-5967Man, I miss the Nintendo 64. Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask...
I still have mine but I kind of have to beat it up in order to make it work.
Oh yes, and Toonami was awesome.
Chances are, I'm not actually wearing any pants right now.Scream
...
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile. It's started the trend of 'self-aware' parodies where they just do all the tired cliches except go 'Hey everybody look! It's like in that one movie!'
...and then the Wayans brothers make a parody of that and the collective intelligence of America goes down another precious point.
^Yes. And Street Fighter 2. Oh, the quarters I lost to Ryu...
Super Mario World is the only Mario game I got 100% on.

"Everyone wants an answer, don't they?... I hate things with answers." — Grant MorrisonOh, OK. But it's kinda like hating Star Wars and Jaws because they started the whole "summer blockbuster" thing.
Ocarina Of Time is the only Zelda game I've ever played. /Hangs head in shame.

AC:NL Dream Address: 5200-2582-5967Except I don't violently hate summer blockbusters.
