JAFAAC: The Ditz

I just see a cheerleader. How am I supposed to know she's foolish if I haven't watched Glee?

Overall, this just needs a new picture.

She looks like a ditz? She's got the blond hair combined with a vapid expression.

Yeah, I think that the vacant stare helps. It's probably not the best we could do, but I think it works decently enough.

It works pretty well, and without text, but I wouldn't mind having it replaced.

The current one isn't that bad, but it doesn't looks like a vacant expression to me, but either a snobbish one or as if she's trying to recall something.

I think the current image is as good as we're gonna get.

The current one is okay, but if anyone has any better suggestions, then we go for that.

I think the current image is better than any of the other suggestions - it's the expression that sells it. The association with typical stereotypes of cheerleaders doesn't hurt, either.

I agree. Never seem that movie, but I think this image is excellent..

I don't mind the current image. It could stand to have some of that dead space over her head cropped out, though.

I've never seen Glee, but I'm fine with the current image. The girl's expression looks "ditzy" enough for me.

If we're looking for an image that doesn't play to the "airheaded cheerleader" stereotype, may I nominate Tow Mater◊ from the Cars movies? His typical expression is one of buck-toothed cheery ditziness, and it's arguably the main reason he became a world-famous Ensemble Dark Horse in the first place.

I'm okay with Tow Mater.

As much as I love him...I'm going to have to say he just looks more happy and silly (if a little beat down) in the pic. Maybe a picture where he's looking more "duuuuuh????" or something like that.

It's amazing how many pics in GIS use the same damn pic of Mater. This is about the only pic of Mater looking confused that I can find.

I actually think that expression is more like she's thinking of something. And isn't Brittany more of a Cloud Cuckoolander? But while I think that we could do better, I suppose the blonde cheerleader says enough.

I don't think the current pic is too problematic. Dumb Blonde is about the same quality with a more iconic actress, Brainless Beauty is maybe less quality...

That's something, but I wouldn't call it ditzy.
