Eh Negi kind of goes away from this with the Festival Arc where he has to do an evil act to save himself then there is the whole Magia Erebea thing "Kill them' Do Not Forgive". That kid has darkness in him and boy when it comes out its explosive.

KAMINA! Seriously though, he was very noble and heroic underneath all the bombastic insanity.

Also agree with Son Goku and Kenzo Tenma as choices. Himura Kenshin could also qualify.

I second Furukawa Nagisa.

Not that heroic on a regular basis, since she will help everyone in her path, but won't go out of her way to help others at the other side of the world or something, but as for the noble thing? Belldandy. Oh goddess, Belldandy.

Kamina is not noble(or sane to add). He's a sociopathic overconfident manchild who always wanted to make things go his way without any consideration for others perspective views(see rossu). He only had moral conscience on inspiring Simon to be a better Ideal than he ever was, which was the point of the series.

The only characters in all of anime fiction I see showing true Moral Integrity and selfless imperative beyond human objectiveness on Optimus Prime/Orel/Superman/Luke Skywalker level is.......Sailor Moon/Belldandy/Tenma

From my own perspective, I'd like to think Vash the Stampede fits the criteria. The thing I like about Trigun is even though Vash is a pacifist, it doesn't skimp on his mindset actually having consequences behind it. Consequences that Vash actually owns up to and accepts.
