If you have an ATI card, you need to get the drivers. They were released a day before Brink was, and Brink was mentioned in the list of added support.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."I'd like to do some co-op challenges.
Jonah FalconI've already tried out the drivers. They do nothing, and the 11.5a hotfix actually lowers my computer's resolution and makes Brink crash on startup.
Co-op challenges don't let you unlock stuff D:
Hey, Jonah, apparently you've got me on ignore list.
I hope if I offended you, I offended you in a funny way.

"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."I do? Maybe I have an "ignore everyone save friends" on.
Jonah Falconwell it certainly is fun. shame i cant really play it consistantly cause my brand new pc has trouble staying on, and brink makes the problem sooooo many times worse.
nonetheless, im slowly making it through the resistance campaign.

Erm. That's not good. You have a bad power supply.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."problem shouldnt persist too long >> dell will be fixing it or replacing it soon.
the time i spent with this pc is short, but i enjoyed it.
on another note, finally got some of those barrel add ons that change the pattern.
i chose the one that blinds me. suffice to say, im not hitting very much anymore, and yet, i dont want to change it.
Posted my review.
Jonah FalconWell, now that I fixed the framerate problems (for the most part), I can safely say I really enjoy the game. The parkour is especially fun, even if sometimes it seems like there aren't too many opportunities to utilize it. The guns seem to have a bit too much recoil, but then again, games like Call of Duty might've affected how we expect guns to behave. Sound bug is kinda annoying, but that'll probably get patched soon.
Now if only I could find a lag-free game online ._.
nvm

At the end of security campaign do the rebels still escape
x3: It better have a fix for that freakin' blue tint, it's the main reason I haven't played it as much as I could.

I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...new pc arrived, brink works perfectly online and off, no crashes no lag no sound issues.
just finished the entirety of the resistance campaign. good god the final what-if mission is painful...
Got it last week (with the Fallout preorder content, yay!), this game is several sorts of crazy fun, also reminding us that id tech is still worth something out in the world =)
Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.I just got this game a few days ago for the ps3. It's a ton of fun, but Resistance day 2 sucks. Screw you, Nechayev!
Agents of Change DLC revealed - and it's free.
Jonah FalconIs the game worth buying now? It had a terrible start, but now it's got DLC and a seasonal (Quakecon) price slash at Steam (it "only" costs as much as in shops here). And I still have one computer I can run it on.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisFree weekend and 50% off on purchase, plus free DLC, I think I'll give it a go :P
What is this I don't even^^ There's a free weekend going on. Have you played it yet? If you like it, I'd definitely buy it.
Only problem is that the community is a bit small (should still be able to find populated servers though), and some computers (namely those using ATI graphics cards) might have problems running it at stable framerates.

ATI graphics. *headdesk* Lovely. And of course my Geforce 9800 had to crap out on me.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisHey, Free Weekend. Anyone else trying this out?
I'm slightly annoyed that you can't change the default look for your character from character creation, but it seems like a fun little game. Probably not going to buy, though.

I have Steam (search for Mr Poly), have the game, but I can't play until I find a way to get more than 5 fps in outdoor areas.
