Split "Harem Genre" from : Harem Genre

Bump again. Can we get some help sorting the sandbox, and maybe finally finish this up?

Did the specifics of what counts as a "subversion" get worked out? Are parodies included?

All forms of Playing with a Trope—including parodies—should go under subverted genre.

...then we should probably call that section something else, right? Like "Playing with the Genre"?

Anyway, I moved all but one of the Video Game examples. Don't really feel like looking up an RPG Maker 2000 game and trying to find out whether it was a straight dating sim or an RPG-date sim hybrid, at least not right now.

Clocking. How is the repair coming along?

Not good. I just pasted the sandbox (minus the unsorted works) into the main page, but that leaves a lot orphaned. But we've been trying to get attention for this for a while, and it just isn't working.

Of the unsorted examples that I'm familiar with, I don't know where to put them. I can tell whether or not they're "Harem genre" or "works with harem elements," but I don't know which ones go in "subverted genre." Isn't just about every harem series Played for Laughs and/or full of lots of subversive drama?

Well, if no one else know's how it's supposed to work either, what if I just throw everything in one of the first 2 categories, and whoever does understand that last category can come back and fill that up afterwards?

Because people will assume that's correct use, and won't move it. If its simply not on the page, then when they add it they'll put it in the correct section.

can't really help then. Like the crowner option says, "So far, the TRS forum didn't really find a way to objectively separate all works along these lines." and if no one's going to help me discuss it, sorting them isn't really possible.

It seems that this isn't getting enough attention to work. Do you think it might fare better if it's moved to Special Efforts?

Not "moved", but a new thread created and this one closed, usually, so that we don't have to wade through TRS discussion before.

And I can see why it is stalling - this was split without knowing how to do it.

I take it we are still stalled here?

This is obviously going nowhere.

I reverted the page to how it was before the split. Sucks to see work lost, but we are at a dead end. Splitting just isn't working for us. Guess we have to call this one a failed repair. Too bad.
