Anyone else other than me thinks the Super Emeralds are just peaces of the Master Emerald?
No, that's silly—peace is an intangible concept.

My most hated boss in Sonic is a tie between Iblis Phase 2 and Chaos 4. They are both equally boring assholes, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with Chaos since you have to fight it three times.

That actually makes some sense. I'm still hoping we get an explanation about the Emeralds, originally they were supposed to be explained in Sonic 2's Hidden Palace, and elements were apparently recycled in the Knuckles version. So maybe that's why it's so shiny?

I still maintain the area in the special stages is Tikal's shrine.

I've always hoped that Jazwares one day makes a toy of the Eggmobile that both of their Robotnik figures can ride in. It would be cool, too, if they could design it to accommodate add-ons that turn it into iconic boss machines from the various games. Some ideas I have are:

  • Add-on packs:
  • Add-on frames:
  • Giant add-on frame:
  • Death Egg Robot - the head would open up like in Sonic 2, and the Eggmobile would slot in there. Bit of a pipe-dream, but Jazwares has made large-scale figures before (though admittedly they're not as complex as the Death Egg Robot is).

You know what might be kinda cool? An Eggmobile mobile—that way, it can be suspended in midair and the wrecking ball would work as intended tongue

So, any news on that next-gen Sonic title?

I want an Eggmobile bobblehead with the little Eggman pilot inside wobbling :V

Apparently the Great Clement made a gummy version that's kinda cool.

Bonus points if he's bobbing to E.G.G.M.A.N or the Death Egg theme from Sonic 2 for extra layers of Creepy Awesome. No other track conveys his deranged genius better than that track.

I've always found it kind of interesting how that song is a waltz, both in its time signature and in the fact that the music almost sounds like it's straight out of a classical waltz when you get to the melody.

Point is, Eggman's classy, he can fit in with high society. (Eggman is the Penguin?)

Well, he's less awkward-looking than poor Oswald Cobblepot (laugh at him and suffer).

Maybe Eggman could work out a profitable business partnership with Oswald.

Eggman's more of a walrus if you ask me.

Note: When writing Batman/Sonic retelling, rename The Penguin to The Walrus.

I made a crowner for the best Sonic game in the series (I made sure that using the best episode crowner in this manner was okay).

I noticed that Sonic Colors is at "(yeas:3 nays:0)", and yet its ranking is a -3 right now. Something doesn't make sense here.

Crowners are probably still messed up.

I voted most things up, save Unleashed and Generations. Didn't interest me too much, so down. I didn't vote for Colors since I never actually played it.

Yeah, it seems that this crowner as well as the Zelda one I made are glitched up. It's on the tech wishlist and bug reports now.

I may hold off on making these video game best episode crowners until this is fixed.

Atleast it allows me to vote correctly. Better than the forum versions. Also, there's a lot of games missing, but I presume you wanted to do the Console-only versions, right?

It never ceases to amaze me how much people love S3&K. It's a good game and it was pretty innovative for its time, yeah, but I really wouldn't say it's the masterpiece everyone hypes it up to be.

I downvoted it for Sonic & Knuckles. If they had been listed separately as apposed to together, I probably would've upvoted 3 and downvoted S&K.

But yeah, Sonic 3 is a very good game, but is put on a pedestal more than it really ought to be. Quite a few games are like that.
