Which still wouldn't have made Sonic Adventure -much- better.
Isn't the new game on the Wii U or something?

Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Is it? That's interesting. It's not going to be multi-platform then, or is it going to be like the case with Unleashed?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Oh please make Amy and Tails playable characters.
"No will to break."No love for Knuckles?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Knux is cool. I can get behind having him as playable.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I did write up a plan for Sonic Adventure 3 (A purely hypothetical game, of course), which, among other things, featured Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Blaze & Silver as playable characters. It was very hard to try and balance Darker and more Lighthearted characters - and I would still want Amy to be in the story, and of course in the 2 player mode.
Has anyone else ever made up a hypothetical plan of a future Sonic game? Might be fun to share ideas.
EDIT: And apparently Sonic has won an Oscar. Huh.

I did once. Not a game that would fit in the game continuity, or ever be something Sega'd actually make, though. It occurred to me this gen would be a perfect time to do a non-serial game in the style of SatAM. Not canon to the rest of the games, but with 2D graphics done in the series' style for HD. Playstyle would essentially be just a bit more strategic than a normal series game- rings would still be a thing, as would powerups, but rings would function as they did in the show and be rather scarce. Other playables would include a more combat-based mode where you play as Bunnie, and a stealth-based mode where you play as Sally. They could use it to give a better tie to the series' loose ends than the Archie comic ever did, and since you're going deliberately not-canon to the other games, you could even have a final victory. Not to mention Call-Forward potential among other things.

I've got some ideas for a Knuckles and Tikal spinoff, but it seems rather unlikely. Besides, Japan seems to be doing everything but stating the western continuities don't exist. Sure there's a few Mythology Gags here and there, but that's all you're ever going to get.
"No will to break."Remember Zelda Classic? I still plan to make a Sonic game using that core gameplay. I still have the data sheet.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I always had an idea for a side-story survival horror deal involving Metal Sonic in a hazard-filled junkyard.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! You mean Zelda 1? No thanks.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."...Sorry to bring this up, but I thought that the Chao Gardens were a neat idea for the first Sonic Adventure just because they tied into the story. What with Chaos' thing about destroying the world because the Chao he protected had been hurt.
The Chao gardens were optional aside from earning Emblems, but by letting you play with the Chao and raise them and care for them, it was sort of like you were helping prove Chaos wrong.
...Of course, if you were an abusive dickhead, it probably means Chaos was in the right. It still doesn't change anything, but it kinda takes away from the ending.
Zelda Classic uses Zelda 1 as a base, but it's a website download that allows you to change the game to make whatever you want.
Apparently it's legal or something? I dunno.
And it seems to be similar to the Link to the Past engine instead?
Anyway, that's the only hack/game I want to do.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Why would you want to? Why not just use a Gamegear Sonic engine?
"No will to break."Um, because the hack I wanted to do isn't a regular-style Sonic game and was planned to be based upon the Zelda engine? It's closer to an overhead version of Tails Adventure, specifically. Except you're playing mainly as Sonic.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I'd rather combine the play styles of Metal Gear Solid and Sonic Adventure for a SATAM derivative game.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!...How the hell do you play Sonic in the style of Metal Gear Solid, even watered down with Adventure gameplay? Does Silver have to sneak into Eggman's lair withoug being detected?
Just... what?
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Sonic Generations has loads of mods and hacks. One only has to go to Youtube to see it.
Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality.Yeah, that doesn't seem real. Especially considering the actor would be the one nominated and not the character.

Damn it, Mr Chuck has nothing on the Blue Blur!
"No will to break."I get the idea that a stealth style gameplay in the Sonic games would likely be something like a more developed version of Amy's gameplay from Sonic Adventure.
I think that stealth would be like a 3D version of the proposed SATAM game.

Tried it. Took me forever to get the little bugger's jaws from off my arm, but I showed it who's boss!
(EDIT: Wow, brutal pagetopper.)
Its pointlessness that could've gone to other things.
But now we're just talking in circles, so new subject. Any news on the new Sonic game?
