Sega CD. The MSX version was the version I tried first, but I got frustrated when even floppy disk load times were emulated. Plus the translation wasn't helping me any when trying to construct Isabella's description for the Montage.
And none of the plug ins or bios I downloaded worked with the cumbersome emulator i was using.
I wish I could find a working copy of Snatcher (and still had a working genesis). I bought a Justifier light gun @ a swap meet. just in case.

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I'm pretty sure his other Magnum Opus was ZOE T He 2nd Runner.
I never played Zo E, but Snatcher was awesomesauce. Doubly so because of its Mythology Gags to Metal Gear. Too bad they scrapped the idea of a joined continuity of the MG series and the Snatcher and Policenauts universe.
Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.How is Policenauts?
And as Slowbeef had said in one of his Lets Plays: Just what is it with his main characters always being perverts all the time?
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.FUCK!! MY GAME CRASHED SOMEWHERE AROUND QUEENS HOSPITAL!
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.SD Snatcher however... could've needed more work.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! What's up with SD Snatcher?
SPEED UP | MISSILE | DOUBLE | LASER | MULTIPLE | ?Sega CD version rules. I almost enjoy the story better than the first Metal Gear Solid, and "One Night in Neo Kobe" is on my MP 3 player. :3
Heh. I have a Sega CD and Snatcher.
You may adore me now.
Don't you try anything, you baked good you.Thanx.
Don't you try anything, you baked good you.@Tromes: Reading slowbeef's Let's Play of it should give you an idea of why it could've used more work.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!@ Schitzo: If you want a work Kojima worked in where the main character isn't a pervert, and if you can read Japanese, look no further than the Tokimeki Memorial Drama Series. BTW, all three games of that series use the Policenauts game engine.
More on topic, I own the PS 1 version of Snatcher, as well as Policenauts's, but I haven't played very far in both of them for the time being (working on Policenauts currently, though).
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeThe idea of Kojima being behind Tokimeki is perverted in itself...
Nah, he only worked in those three specific games of the Tokimemo franchise, and they are very SFW (as is the rest of the franchise. Seriously guys, do not look it down simply because most of its games are Dating Sims / Visual Novels). For the note, it's IGA who wrote the story of the original Dating Sim game.
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeDouble-post, but bringing you something interesting:
This topic sparked in me the desire of starting my long-thought-about project of showing Easter Eggs and Shout Outs towards other games in the Tokimeki Memorial series.
Here's the first vid of the project, showing a Policenauts shout out in Nijiiro no Seishun, the first game of the aforemented Drama Series.
That said, I'm not 100% sure of my translation regarding Saki Nijino's first 2 questions about the movie, since I haven't played Policenauts further than the arrival of Jonathan at Beyond Coast (like the apparent I Have Your Wife one) : someone who played the game fully can check for me, please?
Just finished the game.
What a great story.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.
Hideo Kojima's OTHER Magnum Opus. This game truly needs more love and a remake
EDIT: BTW, no spoilers... yet. I'm still on act 2.
