-Okay wow that's a lot of bullet holes-

   You're super strong, aren't you?   

   -The inner Roo raises his dukes-   

"And I'm assuming you're the virus I'm looking for."

   Heh, maaaybe?   

   If we beat you, I can totally beat up X and Zero too! I'll show Axl how strong I really am!   

"Besides, Base Form said, according to a...magazine? Right, this is just another phase we're going through—."

   "You think my rage is a phase?!"    Berserker snaps as she violently sandwiches Base Form with her hands, moments before she falls into the nearest floor below, and screams her soul out:    "It's not a phase, Base! It's who I am!"   

Ultra is ready to lunge at Berserker, while Base's body language shows signs of easing the fear.    "Stop acting like you don't crave revenge, to just kill everything for making us suffer! Alone, confused, weak...!"    The brute really wanted to pull the trigger, which she did, though not the one she preferred. Her blank eyes slowly leak tears, yet keeps an angered look.

   "Our destructive power only has one purpose...we only have one purpose!"   

The real Caulifla struggles to regain her dominance as the Mental Hitōzaru Caulifla hampers her breathing further with an improper chokehold. " 'Member when Renso taught us this move? Military are dicks, but they got some nice toys for gals like us."

Well, this confirms one thing for the real Caulifla: this mental construct is purely derived from Kale's memories and delusions. Kale is attentive, for sure, but she can fuddle up some details, like this restraining technique she demonstrated back on Planet Sadala. Yet, the best Caulifla could do is jab both elbows into Mental's chest with her sapping strength...and it barely works.

Eires raised an eyebrow, but said nothing, leaning on a nearby tree.

   Hey!   

   -Roo's mech shows off its true colors as a barrier machine-   

   -The virus Ride Gear wraps its arms around Roo and creates a forward facing shield-   

   No cheatin', Shadow!   

   I ain't no worthless heap of metal!   

   -The mech launches the barrier forward-   

-And so a bloody, bullet-ridden plush toy flew out the window into the front yard-

"Clever."

-Shadow side-steps the shield and dashes straight for the mech-
