You could likely change the female Shepard Cerberus Officer uniform to look like Maleshep's suit.
I don't think anyone's actually done it, though.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."About Virmire; it could just be that the Normandy isn't geared for orbital bombardment. Its only a frigate; not a dreadnought.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.I'm not quite sure how bombardment from space (orbital would likely be too near) is any different from shooting other ships.
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficI'm thinking accuracy might be an issue.
#IceBearForPresidentNot against a stationary target. Well, the planet moves in its orbit and spin, of course, but that is very easily calculated and incorrigible movement, so de facto the target is as stationary as things can be in space. Now, against ships, yes. But if it keeps them occupied or even scares them off, then that is already and objective reached.
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficI say it's too deep and shielded for Bombardment the A As keep from lift but the Normandy was able to slip the net but it's landing attracted attention. Also, if they just blew it up then they would not have found out anything.
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherIt's been a while but I remember that you went in not knowing the situation, and therefore had no reason to bombard. You flew in, dropped in the Mako, did some recon, and when you found the STG they tell you they need to wipe out a facility, too little too late with the Normandy already on planet and under the eye of the A As.
Edit: Just remembered, Shepard needed the becon* , so nuking from orbit is meaningless at that point.

#IceBearForPresidentI thought the mission was just "STG wanted to tell us something probably related to Saren, go check it out." Once they saw a base they could've just started blowing it to hell but eh, either couldn't/wanted more info.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote? There was a beacon at Virmire, but capturing it I think was never an objective. The Normandy could have met the STG, picked them up, find a nice cozy place in space to sit around under stealth and started shooting the base. At least, that's how I see it.
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficBut then the Reapers would have killed us all. They had to find out what was going on in there.

Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherThat was never an objective either, and happened rather by chance. And sure they found out some background about the Reapers, but they knew the basics already before. Most of Sovereign's talk was mytho-babbling anyway.
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficBut without the Beacon they would not have found Illos.
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherAh... hrm. Okay, you win this round
Still: Unless they were prescient the crew had no way of knowing that...
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficLet's just chalk it down to Commander Shepard being insatiably curious. YES! I won an arguement with Octo! Do I get a prize? (No offense)

Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand Together^ Yes. *Puts hand on Didact's shoulder, with the other showing a thumbs up* Ya did good kid.
#IceBearForPresidentYes, you will. There will be cake at the end
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficSomebody mention cake? Wait a minute, I know I heard that from somewhere...

#IceBearForPresident- Whistles Dixie*
Finished up my run through of ME 1 and WHY THE FUCK DID NO ONE HAVE THEIR OMNI TOOL RECORDING VIGIL!?! That still bothers the piss out of me. I just remember Illos being a hell of a lot harder my last play through, I'll chock it up to already knowing what I need to do exactly and just being better. Does anyone know the purpose of those geth armatures in the hanger bay when you're trying to open up the trench run? There's four of them, you can hack their control consoles and.... nothing.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritIf you activate them during combat with the geth forces present in the room, they join in on your side. Too bad that even on Insanity you can mow down the opposition on your own.
Dropped the mod file into the ME 2 thread to avoid confusion.
Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.Thanks. How would you even get to them though, there's precious little cover in that room and two Geth Dreadnaughts and an Alpha along with a bunch of smaller guys. You go running for those consoles and you'll get murdered. Easier to pick everyone off from the entrance hallway.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritI just run very fast and use Wrex and Garrus to distract them.
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherAny other nVidia users getting the ancient black eyes bug with the latest drivers? Or I'm the only one?
Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.I wish. My video card is slowly cooking itself. The temps have been rising steadily since it was installed. Used to idle at 29C, now with both monitors on it idles at 48C.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritIs Tali a romantic option for male Shepard? -hopes so, having already shot down Liara and Ashley-
