My Seasonal witch doctor is out of shards and Death's Breaths, and has all the wrong pieces for my Zuni 2-piece bonus. sad

Guess I just need to jump in more pubs and try my luck.

@2906: Diablo is, in essence, a Villain-Based Franchise. Villain recycling comes with the territory.

So I tried to level a seasoned character. I commited the mistake of choosing the female wizard

God dammit I hate her so much.

I just do not like how they made her an arrogant snub to hell and back.

is the male wizard the same?

That's the whole point of a wizard. A talented and arrogant spellcaster who was kicked out of sorcerer-school.

I'm fine with that but the way they handled it is just too much ham for me, I guess.

Hmph. I already have a DH and my friends all play with doctors...that leaves only barbarians since I dun wanna be a monk and I dont have reaper of souls to try the crusader...

bleh.

100%.

I'm a fan of the male Monk in general, but there's a soft spot in my heart for female Crusader, when I've got the Templar as a follower. Their dialogue is great.

There's something weird about this in Tear Jerker section of Diablo III which got deleted...

  • The falling out between the Nephalem and Tyrael after Maltheal's defeat. Tyrael attempts to congratulate them, only for the Nephalem to cut him off and bitterly call him out for never having done anything to combat Heaven's corruption until it became convenient for him, how everything the Nephalem thought they knew about Heaven was a cruel lie, and how Tyrael "used" them before storming off.

I do remember that this was something that was written a lot in the trope pages, that the Nephalem and Tyrael has a falling out. But maybe it's because I am playing the console version and missed out some updates, but the ending I got whether it's finishing the story myself or seeing the PC version in youtube boils down to this before the credits:

I don't see any notions of 'falling out' here. Are those falling out thingies cut contents? Like how the Barb turns out to be not the same as the D2 version?

That spoilered text did not happen when I played. I guess it might vary with character, but probably not that much.

Probably that doesn't happen because I finished with fem!Wizard, fem!Barbarian, saw the male!DH in youtube and all of them are saying nearly the same thing.

I need to differentiate which one is truth or myth around Diablo 3's lore that we are dealing with the wiki before I start editing and make sure the information is up to date. Ones that we have confirmed are the myth of 'falling out between Nephalem and Tyrael', and 'D2 Heroes went bonkers except the Barb' (which Blizzard has helped clarify that it's a cancelled concept). Anything else?

Okay, not lore related, but I still gotta ask something here.

Lately, whenever I play Diablo 3 on my console, I always had to quit early because I fell really sleepy and needed rest for one or two hours. It happens to certain games as well. Well I am playing while laying down on a bed, but it makes me wonder. Is this because I got bored with Diablo and needed another game for the console? Or is it because I need to stop playing while laying down on a bed, I need to at least sit down on it, or sit on a chair? Like, is playing on a bed a bad idea overall?

Because when I play games like Heroes Of The Storm (or any MOB As for that matter), sitting down on a bed, I never feel sleepy.

Maybe it's when you choose to play certain games that matters.

Also because Diablo is a hack and slash, unlike MOB As it doesn't require extensive conscious thought to play. Making it easy to be a passive player and thus, feel sleepy.

I'd be agreeing with their guesses, hack and slashes occupy your mind much less than competitive multiplayer and won't wake you up the same.

I've been farming on my Witch Doctor for a couple of days and have gotten 6-piece Helltooth with 4-piece Zunimassa's as a backup. This has let me move from T4 up to T7. Profile.

Regarding super arrogant female wizard. I'd like to point out that she's voiced by Azula from Avatar. I think the characterization is an awesome fit.

Any advice for the level grind to 70 on a demon hunter? Finished the campaign, trying adventure mode for the first time.

Once upon a time, I'd be replaying the game in nightmare and getting bored. Now I have no idea what to do other than "go anywhere, it all scales".

If you have already completed the campaign, then the most efficient way to level up and earn gear is Adventure Mode. Fundamentally, it's about grinding, so you need to find the way that works best for you.

You should be looking to advance the difficulty setting as soon as you have enough gear to grind at a reasonable pace without dying a lot. Torment is where the best stuff drops.
