I note with interest that this will actually be a cartridge. A physical release rather than a download.
The concept art was really cool. Made Mimiga Village look more like it was inside a real cave.
And SEQUEL HELL YEAH THAT IS AWESOME

Heh, everybody on TIGSource is saying that they never really liked Cave Story that much.
These are the same people who absolutely loved it back when it came out.
Also, they'd better not change Balrog's "huzzah" again.

I recall that Pixel was helping with the translation for the Wii and DS versions of the game, so it's technically what he thinks Balrog was supposed to be saying, and that means that "Huzzah!" was just a fan-favorite Woolseyism.
Frankly, I don't care what he says, but it's going to be annoying if we end up getting another round of people complaining about the translation as this game's information gets released.
Balrog's "Doryaaaaaaaaa!" should just be untranslated this time.
Reaching the Future, the hard way
But Oh Yeah! plus breaking though things makes him like the Kool-Aid man, so it never really bothered me 
Definitely keeping an eye out for this one. I haven't played the original in a good long while so it'll be fun.
You know, I think I like those concept art pictures of the levels more than the 3D versions based on them.
But is the whole game going to be that dark? It's less Fridge Logic-inducing, but if the interior of the whole island looks like the Core Chamber, then the Core Chamber itself is going to have less of an impact.
