I'm tentatively voting not picturable on this one. There's a lot to show, and neither rivalry nor a Face–Heel Turn is easy to demonstrate visually.

I could see this working as a two-parter. First part shows the rival and the hero clearly against each other, but at something benign. Second one would be another faceoff, but with the rival clearly evil.
