"You bet all your heart upon that resistance and by the end of it you found out that nobody won, huh?" he said, in a slightly playful tone

He then moved closer to Sarah and put a hand on her shoulder

"Girl, you're not a bad person. The thought of someone who took away a person that was dear to you getting away with it, that's enough to enrage anyone. A desire for revenge is nothing but natural, eye for an eye and all that. However there are ways to act upon said desire without resorting to extreme methods."

He walks back a bit, looking up for a moment and looking rather pensive despite the total lack of expression.

"You haven't much experience with that, have you? You might have lost a loved one before, but you were still too young to do anything about it, you had other concerns. This time, however, you had the means to act and go against the culprit. Honestly, I hardly think you would be the only person to make acts based on blind wrath. We have examples inside our own group after all."

-He steps back off of the bridge, but continues to eye Sakura warily. The second aspect sighs and approaches Sakura-

F!Eskay: Sorry about him. He's... not exactly the most amiable of the aspects. See, everything he said was true... but he also represents Sarah's flaws in each.

-Elda!Eskay whips his head toward F!Eskay again upon the word "Sarah".-

Sarah: I know... I used to be utterly disgusted by the other "examples"... but after this, I realized how hypocritical that was.

-He makes makes a pointed effort to not look at the pouty face-

-F!Eskay sighs and looks out over the murky water-

F!Eskay: I'm Sarah's clear-minded aspect. Intelligence, reasoning, sanity... I know everything about what goes on in this mindscape, and I'm also the only one who really understands what goes on outside. Sadly, I'm losing my influence on Sarah's mind as a whole, despite being the so-called "leader" of it...

-She gestures toward Elda!Eskay-

F!Eskay: As for him... well, he used to be just the sorts of things one would expect of a Heart of Gold. Charisma and manipulation, particularly. Now...

-She watches Elda!Eskay glance between the two, golden eyes glinting beneath the mask.-

F!Eskay: Like he said, he judges right from wrong. Unfortunately, what exactly constitutes each is slowly becoming more lost. An eye for an eye makes him blind. He's falling into the cycle Lucius fell into — the same one Sarah donned the suit to stop in the first place.

-She turns back to Sakura-

F!Eskay: He's also very sensitive to mental tampering. If you were to attempt to alter this mindscape, or fight one of the aspects within it, he would hunt you down instantly.

Sarah: ...It can mean a lot of different things... but the way I see it, it's doing something to make a difference for someone else. For the better.

Al-Gala
