-A rather bored Clefairy is poking his sleeping trainer-

Mondo: <Hey, shouldn't you be up by now?>

Blitz: <Zzzz>

Mondo: <Come on, I'm hungry!> -Poke poke-

Blitz: "..."

Mondo: <Fine, maybe a little moonlight will wake you up>

-The Clefairy starts to build up a Moonblast, but is interrupted by a pillow to the face.-

Blitz: -Has buried himself in the covers to avoid light-based retaliations-

Goldenrod - Now

-Said hungry Clefairy is now wandering around-

Mondo: <Bah, someone should really open a restaurant that caters to pokemon around here>

Sarascape

"I wonder if that has any sort of meaning..." said Sakura, looking at the heart shape "Who put that there though?"

Sakurascape

Sarah might suddenly feel a pair of hands on her shoulders, if she was to look to the right, she would be face-to-face to the helmet of a certain Greninja superhero

"Boo."

Goldenrod

-Mondo may find a Jigglypuff on his head.-

Uta:<Hm...? I seem to be higher up than normal...>

Maria:'Uuuuuuutaaaaa! Where'd you gooooooo?

Goldenrod

Mondo: <Huh? What are you doing up there!>

-The Clefairy reaches up to pull the attempted headpet off of him-

<My head isn't for peoplemon to sit on>

-Mondo puts on his best tough-guy scowl, before his stomach gurgles-

Sarascape

???: Why does it concern you?

-Behind Sakura is a figure with a mask and a rather unfriendly looking staff.-

Sakurascape

-Sarah suddenly jumps and whips around to see the figure in question-

Sarah: Gah! Don't do that! I don't want to find out if I'm capable of having a heart attack here!

Goldenrod

-Uta is pulled off. She tilts.-

Uta:<Oh, sorry. I was on your head?>

-Clefairy belly pokes.-

<Hm? You're hungry? Me too!>

-Her belly grumbles a small bit.-

Maria:Uuuuuuuta?

Somewhere over the ocean...

The calm of the open sea was momentarily broken by a vast shape zooming overhead. An immense airship, coated stern to bow in armor plating that resembled hardened obsidian cut through the sky, en route to civilization.

Airship Bridge

At the top of the airship just next to the ship's helm paced an enormous Dinosaur Pokémon. His brick-red scales were craggy, almost as if made from solid rock, and just as hard. His massive head was home to a set of jaws that made even a Feraligatr or Krookodile's seem merely entry level. His lower jaw in-particular was covered by a thick coat of downy feathers, almost like a beard of some sort.

These same feathers formed a large ruff around his neck. And adding even more to his rough yet regal appearance, a bronze crown-like structure sat on his head, which housed his two rather small but piercing eyes.

This was not the sort of Pokémon you would want to meet in a dark ally. Especially not now, as he was more than a little irritated.

Torque the Tyrantrum: <How much further is it?>

A short distance ahead at the airships helm, it's pilot – a large metallic blue Pokémon with four large legs and a saucer shaped body paused briefly to deliver a response in a distinctly robotic tone.

Sinclair the Metagross: <With the engines at full burn, we will make landfall in approximately six hours minimum.>

The Tyrantrum grumbled irritably. He was not a patient Pokémon.

Torque: <Is there nothing you can do to make this thing go faster?>

Sinclair: <Unfeasible. While I can increase the fuel consumption to boost the engines even further, we would not have enough fuel to return to base in the event of emergency or mission failure.>

Torque scowled. As much as he hated the idea of failure, the Metagross had a point. Best to run away with your tail between your legs than to have your foe tear it off completely.

Torque: <Fine, fine. Guess I'll just have to be patient.>

The immense dinosaur turned around, stomping loudly over to his throne at the back of the room.

<But I sure won't enjoy it!>

Sinclair: <I never expected you would, sir.>

Sticking his tail through a hole in the back, the Tyrantrum took a seat on his cushy chair. The image gave one the impression of an emperor surveying his kingdom. Which was precisely the point.

Grumbling, the Tyrantrum fiddled with his claws, a somewhat nervous feeling developing in his gut. Not that he would ever admit it.

Torque: <Do you think they'll love me, Sinclair?>

The Metagross responded with a curt nod, not even bothering to look away from the control panels and screens laid out in front of him.

Sinclair: <I predict your approval rating with the populace of Johto to be around ninety percent.>

Torque: <Good, good. Of course, it would be better if it was a firm one-hundred percent...>

He waved a claw dismissively.

<But that's why we brought the cannon with us.>

Sinclair: <Yes. But I feel inclined to warn you, sir, that most peoplemons have a negative reaction to having a large gun pointed at them.>

Torque: <I know that, Sinclair. But sometimes, the threat of force is necessary to get what you want out of life. If gaining the approval of a region so that they can crown me emperor besets having to wave a gun in their face...>

He nodded to himself.

<Then so be it.>

Sinclair: <Understood, sir.>

Torque: <Ideally, we don't even want to fire it if possible.>

A brief moment of silence followed as Torque gazed up at the ceiling at nothing in-particular, thoughts of mass devastation dancing through his head.

<But I'm not gonna' lie, I wouldn't mind if we got to atomize something with it. Is there anything on the way we could just stop and shoot at? No...?>

He looked back at the Metagross, the robotic Pokémon remaining silent.

<...I thought so.>

Sinclair: <Even with all of the assets at our disposal, have you considered the option that the populace of Johto won't let you simply take charge, sir?>

Leaning back in his chair, the Tyrantrum sighed contently.

Torque: <Of course I have, Sinclair. But the thing is? It's not even a question of “Who will let me.” Oh no...>

A wicked smirk crossed his jaws.

<The real question is: “Who will stop me?”>

Sarascape

Sakura freezes for a moment before quickly turning around "You were not here just a few seconds ago! Where did you come from?!"

Sakurascape

The superhero then lets go of Sarah, chuckling at her reaction. He gets some distance from Sarah, making it clear that it was indeed Shingeko who was there.

"You're the first visitor I've seen around here, so I thought of leaving a bit of an impression, the ninja way." he chuckled again before walking around a bit "What do you think of the place? Certainly a relaxing sight isn't it?"

Goldenrod

Mondo: <What do you mean "Was I on your head"??... And that's besides the point>

-He holds the Jigglypuff at arm's length to prevent further poking. Which isn't saying much for the stubby mon-

<What, did your trainer forget to feed you too?>

-Mondo's ear's perk at the sound of an approaching Maria. And he tries to hide in a nearby bush-

Ah, not her again! The last thing I need is snuggles

Sarascape

-The masked figure looks at Sakura analytically.-

Elda?: That does not matter. Why are you here?

-Sakura may notice that "Elda"'s voice doesn't sound like Sarah's, but rather, Eskay's before his transition.-

Sakurascape

-Sarah blushes slightly in embarrassment.-

Sarah: I can't go anywhere without having to watch my back, huh?

-She relaxes-

Sarah: Anyway, it's... nice, yeah. So much better than the inside of my head.

Goldenrod

-Uta pokes her head into the bush.-

Uta:<Why are you hiding?>

Maria:There you are!

<Ah, Ms. Maria! I thought I heard you. Can I have a treat? I met a friend! In the bush!>

-Maria giggles before handing a pokeblock to the Normal/Fairy type. Then peeks in the bush.-

Maria:Oh! Is that a Mondo?

Sarascape

"I came here to help Sarah with her nightmares. I'm guessing you're the responsible for them." said Sakura, looking slightly nervous

Sakurascape

"I can imagine, after all you do seem to have more... Issues, than Sakura does."

He begins walking around again, his tone now becoming more serious

"I would never have expected you to act that way, none of us did. But I guess in the end the people who we think we know are the ones that surprise us the most, both in good and bad ways."

He then stops in place right in front of Sarah, folding his arms.

"You might be wondering what I represent in this place. I'm a representation of Sakura's ideals and moral compass, as well as the personality she assumes during her night escapades. Call me "Justice"."

Goldenrod

Mondo: <Shush! You're gonna give me-> -Cover blown!- <-Away... Hi Maria>

-Beat-

-Stomach gurgle-

Snowy: <Oh, the scarves! I forgot all about them!> D:

Eldräv: <Aww, but they were so pretty...> 3:

-Maria practices some restraint and does not immediately hug the Mondo.-

Maria:Awwww. Is the tough mon hungry?

-Uta tries to pull the Clefairy out of the bush.-

Uta:<Oooh, you're name's Mondo? I'm Uta! Let's be friends, pleeeeease?>

-She hops and munches a Pokeblock.-

Sarascape

Elda!Eskay: ...No. That is Sarashi.

Sakurascape

Sarah: ...Justice... I hope you're a better judge of "justice" than I am...

Sarascape

"You mean the one with all the Toxicroak?"

Sakurascape

"Hopefully so. The kind of reaction you had, even if it was about the murder of one your best friends, can't mean anything good about you. Even if you do regret the act, I'm starting to think this may be a trend that's quickly getting out of hand." he said in a stern tone.

He paused, sighing and shaking his head slightly as he unfolded his arms.

"Even then, I still can't believe you would be someone that would be so... Murderous. Call it blind optimism if you want, but I cannot see you as a bad person, maybe lacking a bit in self-control, but we all have our flaws."

Goldenrod

Mondo: <Yeah, well... Blitz wouldn't get up to feed me and the last place I went kicked me out for some stupid reason>

Elsewhere in Goldenrod

-There is a buffet with a sign that has a has a crossed out silhouette and the words "No pink marshmallows"-

With Maria again

Mondo: -Is dragged out of the bush- <Uta, eh?> -Tries not to eye the pokeblock too much- <Erm...>
