-About two seconds later, the Espurr lets out an eerie, echoey meow. It can't really be called a "meow", actually; it's more of a "myeeeeeh" sound.-

Alex: (shrug) Dad runs a company that makes Pokémon-related technology. Stuff like Poketches, Pokedexes, even the odd Pokeball... I heard they're about to release a line of Holo Casters. My older brother is the heir. I had nothing to do... I'd always liked Pokémon Trainers on the TV, stuff like the World Tournaments, so I got a Torchic, called it "brimstone" in Swedish, and wandered a bit. I'm still wandering, I guess. Just with other people.
