Why? Because Dialga more or less gave it to me. As for why I haven't used it to get out of here, the Adamant Orb only does time travel, it's only recently started working properly again, and honestly we can't exactly leave with Ransei still needing our help.

Herbert: The fact that it does time travel is kind of the point! As far as I know, modern Ransei still has airports. Urgh, no point arguing it further, though, Arceus knows I'm in this for the duration... but seriously, what the hell kind of explanation is "Dialga gave it to me"? You can't just say that and then refuse to elaborate!

Spectra - Around 600 years ago

-Lucanus sighs, then turns to Umbra as he approaches.-

Lucanus: I presume you are here to demand something of me?

Jacob: -Blinks at Grant when he see's the scene then chuckles-

-Jokingly- "Woooooooooooooooow. Score one for good parental role modeling Grant."

Celzvet: -In reponse to Shug's growling he breaks into singing about Sagi and how much better she is than Fukurou at life, looks, and battling-

"No one's perfect right?" said Grant, rubbing his neck with a silly smile on his face.

"I'm guessing I'm going to pay for this..." said Sakura, with a sigh

"Unless I learn to materialize money, yes."

Sakura then folds her arms and look at Grant somewhat sternly, to which he responded with looking away from her as if he was some kid who got busted for doing something wrong, though she soon drops it

"You're supposed to be an adult, you know?" she said, with another sigh, though she now had a small smile.

That kinda is the explanation. There's really nothing more to it.

-Joseph hugs Crow-

Nothing, really. Frankly, I doubt Jacob ever liked me anyway. Most of the time, it seemed like he was humoring me.

-Herbert blinks.-

Herbert: ...So you're telling me that the one of the guardians of spacetime just randomly decided to give you an artifact so powerful it can manipulate the very flow of time itself. For no reason. Forgive my scepticism, but I don't buy that explanation.

That's the thing with legendaries, there's always a reason for what they do. As for why Dialga saw fit to give me the Adamant Orb, I have my theories, but I don't really know why. Sure I could summon him and ask, but I doubt the Lord of Time would give me a straight answer anyway.

Yaksha

-Shug looks like she's going to start Roaring soon-

-Fukurou's attention is finally gotten-

Fukurou: "..."

"Andante, would you mind dealing with something?"

-Fukurou turns his attention back to Celzvet-

"Why are you here?"

-Crow is hugged-

Crow: "Ah."

Herbert: ...I would say that I think there's more to this that you're not telling me, but it'd be pointless since there's always more to every story. But I'll agree that summoning Dialga for no reason other than to ask him what was going through his mind at the time sounds like a bad idea. He's probably busy doing... important legendary stuff. Or something. I'm sure he's got something vital to attend to. Somewhere.

-Crow gives a look of confusion-

Crow: "Hate me? Why would he hate me?"

Holon City

Jacob: -Smiles- "I can pay for it. Just... next time make sure you're not at a museum. Be like at a food place or something so I don't end up using most of, in not all the money I may have on hand."

Celzvet: -Is now smiling- "I just wanted to talk! Is that a crime here? Well knowing you it very well might be!"

He doesn't like you. No idea where it started, but there you are.

Umbra: I am here to inform you that you will be sent back to Puglis under my command. We've had a problem with... Raiders.

"Noted." said Grant, chuckling a bit "Thanks though."

"I had a feeling that leaving you here alone would be a bad idea." said Sakura, teasingly "Maybe I should do some small punishment for this? Got to keep a good example for Conan." she joked

"Hey, isn't that a bit much?" said Grant, scratching his head.

"I could excuse this if it was two days ago when it was your birthday, but no such luck." said Sakura giggling.

"Figures."

Fukurou: "..."

"Every time we've talked it's ended badly. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to do so again."

Crow: "Hm... Maybe I overdid it in our last battle... But I thought for sure he was fine with it afterwards."

Well, that's him, I suppose. Maybe he was too distracted coming up with chess metaphors to tell you.

Libitina: <Finally, some action! It's been quiet as the grave around here.>

Lucanus: I am not going to grant that remark the dignity of a reply.

-He strides off to meet the escort that is presumably waiting for him, Libitina floating behind, and sighs slightly.-

Lucanus: I suppose it was foolish of me to expect him to simply forget about my servitude... let us hope that I am able to make some good out of this dark situation.

"Well, I look much older than you, and I'm pretty sure most people who see us together think that I'm your father, so for anybody looking, my daughter is chewing me up." said Grant, with a smirk.

Sakura then giggles "We don't look like father and daughter... Do we?" she said, taking a better look at Grant.
