Carol: Hey Herby! -looks at Wrex and Shale- D'AAAWWW that's freaking aborableeee~ -looks back at Herbert- I bet you and Wrex will kill the gym leader, no problem!

Herbert: Adorable, maybe, but all they're doing at the moment is giving me a headache. When I see Maggie again, she's the one putting up with these two, not me. And Wrex is a Fighting-type, so even though he knows plenty of Rock-type moves I'm probably only going to rely on him if things get desperate. Still...

-He gives Carol a smile.-

Herbert: I appreciate the support. And though I'm sure it would make getting the badge easier, killing anyone won't be necessary.

Carol: Pfft, you know what I mean~ -grins- And I'm sure you'll be fine! That badge is as good as won!

Herbert: Thanks. I think I'll probably be leading with Maul, since he knows some Electric-type moves. Then Ripley, and then finally Kirk if things get to that point. I'll try not to rely too much on one Pokemon, though.

-He looks over at Nate, trying to conceal his blushing from Carol.-

Herbert: You can catch Zebstrika on Route 7, if I remember correctly. They're pretty powerful, and since they're pure Electric-types they don't have many weaknesses. And don't worry about annoying us. Everyone starts somewhere, and you seem like a nice enough guy. Remind me of myself a bit, actually.
