Xatu trolled me by stealing my Badges and dumping me in Aspertia. I'm trying to get my Badges back while dealing with what appears to be the Dream and waking worlds fusing.

Well...-Goes through a summary of the last few weeks-...and here we are.

Last post for today. Won't be anywhere near as active for the near foreseeable future.

Driftveil Lighthouse

| Still puzzled by her earlier vision, Zeta has had Cetus drop her off at the top of the Lighthouse, in order to be alone. She is letting him swim around in the Bay, while Glossa catches some sleep nearby. Kaminari is absent, and Zeta suspects that she has returned to Pi.

| Dismissing these thoughts, she sits down to meditate once more.

| She can feel herself slipping away, back to that place.

| Zeta opens her eyes to find that she has returned to the Desert.

| Curious, she decides to leave the central Ruins.

| She decides to venture south. She sets off, barely able to keep to the tiny path.

Southern Desert

| As Zeta walks deeper into the Southern Desert, she comes upon an Oasis. There, she sees a familiar figure.

Zeta: Is that... me?

| At first glance, it appears so.

Zeta: Hello?

Zeta?: Oh! Hi! How are you?

Zeta: Alright...?

Zeta?: Oh, good. Today is a wonderful day, isn't it?

Zeta: I... guess.

| Now that she has the chance to get a better look at the figure, Zeta realizes that she is not quite her.

| The figure's face is less care worn, less beaten down. She looks like how Zeta would expect herself to look, if she had led a normal life.

Zeta: Who... are you?

Zeta?: Why, I'm you, silly! At least, a part of you.

Zeta: Then, what should I call you?

Zeta?: Call me... Vibrance!

Zeta: Alright, Vibrance. What is this place?

Vibrance: This is the Desert of Light, in the Land of the People!

Zeta: Huh.

Zeta: How do I leave here, without subjecting myself to the shadows?

Vibrance: You need to take one of the Keys into your hand.

Zeta: Keys?

Vibrance: I can't tell you, you have to find out for yourself, silly!

Zeta: Damn.

Vibrance: Uh, uh, uh! No cursing in front of me, sweetie.

Zeta: Sorry. Well, I guess I'll be going then.

Vibrance: Oh dear, you've spent too long here. Goodbye!

Zeta: What?

| But already, the world is shattering like before, and she is falling into the shadows at the edge of the world.

| The hole in the world has widened into a full-blown tear.

| Murkrow and Honchkrow start pouring through. The quickly descend on the market below.

| They steal food. They steal money. They steal jewelry. They steal shiny wrappers.

| And they shite.

Honchkrow!???: <The invasion of the Waking World has been successful! We are now seizing tribute from the conquered lands!>

You should have really asked me, I got six badges you know, did you ever even learn the type chart?

Mabel the Metang: <Should we be worried about his choice?>

Tad the Lombre: <Now, let's just wait and see.>

Tamato the Tropius: <Hey, at least we know he picked somebody who's gonna be fun!> ^_^

Colonel Sandy the Blaziken: -crossing her arms behind her head- <I'm not worried. A trainer and Starter have a special bond, through all kinds of circumstances.>

At the outskirts of town

A squad of dragons approach the city limits.''

Tiamet: <So, we're just going to turn all the humans into Pokémon...>

Invasion!Seadra: <Uh, yeah, the briefing was very clear on that.>

Tiamet: <I was traveling across the sea on what turned out to be, apparently, a paperwork farce!> >.<

<And anyways, this is not going to cause any trouble? Really?>

Seadra: <We aren't killing them, just forcing them to accept our rule! Quite merciful, really, given what we've had to put up with.>

Tiamet: <Yeah, they're annoying, but what if they get turned into Dragons or Ice Types or something?! They'd be even more annoying then!> >.<

Seadra: <They won't know how to use any strong moves before they see how we make much better rulers than them. And they'll probably be thanking us by then! And if one or two end up as dragons, well, I guess they were judged worthy of having a second chance. Not that I expect many of them to do so.>

Ben's House

Patricia: Can I? Can I? Can I?

Benjamin: Why ya askin' me? He's your homie now! Or he's a dead bug.

Katrina crosses her arms, a little perturbed at being left out of the loop.

Katrina: Fine, fine, let's see what he got you.

Patricia: POKÉMON! I CHOOSE YOU!

Her siblings chuckle at her outburst, as the form of a Dwebble takes shape in a flash of light.

Patricia: ROCKY!

Without further ado, Patricia dives down to hug the newly-dubbed Rocky.

Pat's starter turns to speak to Ben's.

Colonel Sandy: <Aw, not a Grass type? Would have completed a trio with us.>

Koopa: <Hey, he's a Bug, right? That's kinda close. Except I don't have to worry about a type disadvantage!>

Mabel: <Did he say demolition?>

Tamato: <Awesome!>

Outskirts

The assembled Dragons tensely await the operation's beginning.

Altaria: <After all this planning... the moment of truth! Our rightful place, realized!>

And a flash of light envelopes the city...

Seadra: <Yes! Let's go!>

As a swarm of dragons charge the city streets... with some stragglers.

Tiamet: <Ow! Get off!> >.<

Tiamat glares at her tail, which a Trapinch has latched onto.

Trapinch: <Invade!>

Tiamet: >.< <You are far too young for this. Go home.>

Trapinch: <Aw.>

Ben's House

A flash of light subsides, most of the inhabitants left blinking in confusion.

Mabel: <OK rockbug, what did you blow up?>

Rocky: <That wasn't me! Honest! Sir!>

Monty: <Hello Ponyta, where'd you come from?>

Ponyta!Katrina: <What?!>

A newly monified Kat rears up on her hind legs in panic.

Ponyta!Katrina: <This isn't logical!>

Colonel Sandy: <Wait, Kat?!>

A Bagon next to Koopa stammers a moment, then braces in a display of bravado.

Newly-monified humans are running into their houses or sitting in shock, as a patrol of Dragons comes down the road.

Seadra: <Humans! You have been defeated! Submit peacefully to the new order, and you shall not be harmed!>

Humon!Tailow: <What?! How- brute! How can I knit with no hands!?>

Seadra: <Silence! You had your fun, humans, but it's now the Age of the Dragon!>

Humon!Tailow: Chirp! .v.

Humon!Dratini: <Hey! I'm a Dragon now, you can't talk to my aunt that way!>

Seadra: <...ok, so one of you->

Humon!Druddigon: <I didn't vote for this!>

Seadra: <Another..?>

Hearing the commotion, Ben comes out to join the action.

Bagon!Benjamin: <Hey you freaks! Why'd you gotta make me all scrawny, mans?>

Altaria: <Alright... You who became dragons, come out so that we can->

At this stage, quite a few Dragon-line humons start to come into the open from nearby houses, outnumbering the invading party.

Tiamet: >.< <I told you.>

Humon!Trapinch: <Oh so, YOU'RE the reason why I can't reach the remote on the TV?>

Humon!Deino: <Yeah! Valiant Knight Skarmory is on tonight, and WE'RE MISSING IT.>

Invader!Druddigon: <Uhm... Perhaps we could talk this- O_O;>

Mob: <Get them!>

Ponyta!Katrina: <Are you all crazy?! We don't know how to attack!>

Koopa: <Hey, just breath fire, right?>

Colonel Sandy: What would you know about..?

Ponyta!Katrina: <...an ember against an invading force of experienced->

Bagon!Benjamin: <Try this on for size!>

Ben puffs out some eerie-shimmering blue flames.

Ponyta!Katrina: <Wait. Dragon Rage...?>

Bagon!Benjamin: <Really?! That move was dirty hax when I was on the beat!>

Ponyta!Katrina: <Um... go ahead, knock yourself out... Worth a shot.>

Benjamin jumps into the fray, coming to face Tiamat.

Tiamet: <Sigh, things had to get stupid. -er.>

Bagon!Benjamin: <Yo feel my Dragon Rage! Dr-dr-DRAGON RAGE!>

And he spews a brilliant blue ribbon at Tiamat.

Tiamet: >.< <I spoke too soo- OW! THAT HURT, YOU LITTLE SCAMP->

-she gets attacked from behind by an Endeavor-

Humon!Tailow: THIS! IS! FOR! MY! NEEDLEWORK!

Dwebble: <Does this happen every day, ma'am?>

Wurmple!Patricia: <I don't think so. But I'm only ten.>

A Moment Later

Bagon!Benjamin: <Haha! You all are being schooled, Mauville style!>

He swipes at a nearby Druddigon.

Humon!Druddigon: <Watch it Ben! Attack them!>

Bagon!Benjamin: <Whoops! We cool, right?>

Humon!Tailow: <How'd you know that was Benjamin?>

Humon!Druddigon: <"being schooled, Mauville style?">

The Taillow facewings.

Humon!Tailow: <Duh.>

A Moment More

Many of the dragons are swaying woozily.

Tiamet: <ugh... worst. invasion. ever.>

Humon!Druddigon: <Ben! You did it again!>

Bagon!Benjamin: <Hrm...>

Ben jumps out of the brawling crowd, shouting over his shoulder:

<YO DAWGS! I can't tell who's supposed to fight who anymore, checking out for now, peace!>

Tiamet: >.<

Humon!Druddigon: Ben improbably raises an excellent point... You there, Gible, you're Jenkins, right? I got a scheme...

Altaria: <We can't hold this up... ugh... SQUAD! RETREAT!>

The conscious members of the invasion force quickly flee the way they came. All thirty of them.

Seadra: <...didn't we leave with a force of twenty? ._.>

I won't have enough time tomorrow to GM the 'Krow Dream World Event. Could someone else please take the reins?

It was possible to hear some possible conflict from the upper floor and maybe even the sound of a hammer striking something.

-what little colour is left in Herbert's face drains when he hears Lyuri's yelling from upstairs-

Herbert: Um, you know what, I'll ask you two later. I should probably go make sure there's not a murder going on upstairs. I've heard of not being a morning person, but that's ridiculous...

-he heaves himself out of his chair, still slightly uneasy, makes his way upstairs as fast as he can and knocks on Lyuri's door-
