<Yomi: "... Oh, so that's where our escape ticket out of here went...">

-A certain Lucario has just blipped into existence around a certain group licking their wounds and waiting to prove the sudden population crash of unusual Kecleon outside-

<Andre: "Huh? Who's that?! Who are you- I mean, I can totally tak-!">

<Pepper: "Huh? Whozzat?">

<Lardna: "Wait a minute, is that you-">

<Audrey: "   ...   ">

OU, Sinnoh, a while ago

- Veronica has managed to get the giant water Pokemon back to its own world, somehow -

Veronica: ... That was probably the strangest thing I've ever done.

- Veronica is wandering around -

Veronica: ... Been a while since anything exciting happened around here.

- Yeah, sorry. I haven't been able to think of anything to have you do to have these, like, "meanwhile, back in our world" moments and so on... I'm sorry you're not a more interesting character, I should've done my job better -

Veronica: Aw, don't feel bad. You did at least put some effort into figuring out what kind of person I am...

- Don't worry, assuming I'm still interested in narrating this story by then, I intend to make it up to you, sort of -

- Yeah, I'd tell you what I have in mind, but I don't want to give any spoilers in-universe -

The Hub, PMD-B

-After flying during the night, we arrive in the Hub-

Vault Dweller: This place is a lot bigger than Junktown.

-Around us are numerous caravans consisting of Tauros carrying carts laden with supplies, guarded by very grim-faced caravan guards and mercenaries-

<It certainly looks and feels like a hub. It feels kinda empty though.>

Muddy: <Let's just see if they have anything that can help us around here.>

<Audrey: "   TRACER!   ">

-And lunges at the Archen, in full view of everyone-

<(?): CAW!>

<Audrey: "   I KNOW THERE'S A BOSS TO FIGHT! YOU'RE GOING FIND IT, SMASH IT INTO THE GROUND, AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO GO STAND IN LINE FOR DRAGONITE QUEST 10!   ">

<Moogle: "Eep...">

<Pepper: ._. "... Do I want to know?">

-Frantically attempting to run away-

<(?): "Un-Unhand me, you mutt! Go on your own quest!">

<Lardna: "... That's out now? But it's-">

<Audrey: "   LESS THAN A DAY FROM RELEASING! AND I'VE BEEN STUCK ON SOME ROCK WITHOUT EVEN A SIMPLE PUZZLE GAME FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS!   ">

-And lobs an Aura Sphere, which grazes the fleeing Archen before carrying on into a wall-

<(?): "ARGH!">

-And is pinned to the ground by a rather unhinged metal jackal-

<Maurice: O.O; "What sort of Psycho is she on?">

<(?): "OKAY! OKAY! GO ON YOUR QUEST! TAKE SOME SUPPLIES IF YOU NEED THEM!">

<Audrey: "   THEN GIVE ME A WAY TO GET THERE, TRACER!   ">

<(?): "Wh-Who's Tracer?! Why do you deranged peasants keep mentioning that name?!">

<Audrey: "   OH, SO HE'S NOT HERE?! WELL, HE WON'T BE RID OF ME SO EASILY!   ">

<Bottles: "Isn't she going to need money to buy a game?">

<Audrey: "   ...   ">

<Lardna: O.O; "Er... I think there's some in the bag! Here!">

-And throws a non-trivial amount of money valid in the G1-G4 regions out, which is snatched by Audrey-

<Audrey: "   NOW. TO FIND HIM AND GIVE HIM A PIECE OF MY MI-!   ">

-It is at this moment that a certain Sceptile and a number of local guards burst in-

<Gabriel: "What the hell's going on here?!">

<Guard!Cacturne: "Yeah! We heard a scuffle!">

<Maurice: "... I think that we literally just got robbed by a lone wolf...">

Bluescale Swamp

Brine the Feraligatr♂: <Good morning, ladies and gentlemons!>

The gathered crowd of mostly Feraligatr and Salamence members cheer loudly as their pair of elders addresses them, the two having took to a hastily constructed stage in the town square to address the population.

Zephyr the Salamence♀: <We're so happy to see such a huge turnout today! It's as if all of Bluescale has come to witness the arrival of a true living legend in the flesh!>

Brine: <We'd also like to thank all of you for making this years festival so wonderful! Your conjoined efforts have truly made this one of the best yet!>

Zephyr: <But it's still far from over, as our guest oh honor if about to arrive!>

Brine: <And with that comes the start of our most prestigious event; the annual Bluescale Battle Tournament!>

The crowd gives a collective "Ooh", as the mention of a Tournament gets a certain few Pokemon listening.

Crowd

Lake: <Ooh, a tournament?>

Luke: <As in a battling tournament? Sounds like fun!>

Stratus: <Yeah, this is something I want in on!>

On Stage

Zephyr: <Of course, it wouldn't be a tournament without a prize for the winner, and this year, we're offering...>

The Salamence reaches into her hammer-space and pulls out...a rather worn yellow scarf, much to the confusion of the crowd.

Random Croconaw: <...Huh? It's just a crummy old scarf!>

Random Mudkip: <LAME!>

Random Salamence: <What kind of farce are you trying to pull here?!>

Zephyr: <Oh? But this isn't just any old scarf, right Brine?>

Brine: <Nope, this is a very special scarf...in fact, it's the very scarf that was worn by our one of our first elder's; Lake himself!>

The very mention of the scarf beloning to Lake cause the entire crowd to gasp in surprise.

Crowd

Luke: <Wait, what?!>

Lake - our Lake - stares, in shock that they were offering none other than his alternate counterpart's scarf as the prize for winning the tournament.

Lake: <I...I'm...I'm surprised it hasn't rotted away by now.>

Stratus: <Gee, that sure is some strong silk Dintel weaved it from...>

On Stage

Zephyr: <Indeed, the champion of this tournament will win this priceless relic to wear with pride!>

Brine: <Obviously a prize worth of a true hero! Now, with that out of the way...>

The two pause to glance skyward as a formation of Salamence rider's soar overheard.

<It seems that our guest has arrived!>

And with that, everymon turns upwards to witness the form of a HUGE silver bird soar overhead, flapping it's great wings as it gracefully flies down and lands on-stage next to the Elder Feraligatr and Salamence, much to everyone's amazement.

Crowd

Lake: <Oh wow...>

Stratus: <WHOA! Pleo's gotten HUGE!>

Luke: <No kidding, he's even bigger than our house back in New Bark!>

On-stage

The Lugia in question gives the gather crowed of Pokemon warm smile.

Pleo: <Greetings, Pokémon of Bluescale. It's a pleasure to be here once again!>

The collective crowd cheer, or in most causes, roar loudly.

<I'm so happy to see the little town I saw the conception of so long ago is still going strong after all these years, standing as a triumph born from the unity of two species of Pokémon coming together to live and work in harmony with each other. Granted, there have been some...bumps along the road...>

He turns to give Zephyr a disapproving look.

Zephyr: <Hey! Why should those Poison Rabbits get to boss us around? It should be us telling them what to do!>

This prompts her compatriot to face-palm.

Brine: <Let it go, Zephyr...>

With a sigh, he turns back to gaze at the crowd.

Pleo: <Anyway, I look froward to seeing the many events you've planned for this year's festival, so...how about we get things started?>

Whispy Wannabe King Golem's Chamber

AU!Skye is taking King Golem's attacks fairly well. AU!Eskay A? ...He's been incredibly lucky.

Bluescale - Crowd

Eskay: (To Psyche) <~Wow... You wanted to meet Lugia... and now here we are. This is really incredible.~>

Skye: <Wow... A chance to fight to win Lake's scarf... Gah, what am I saying!?>

Myra giggles. Skye would blush if she could.

The spelling error was intentional.

-Eldur and AU!Salem are getting ready to leave PMD A and head back to PMD B-

Eldur:-Checks over his bag- <Looks like I have everything. How about you Salem?>

AU!Salem:<I have everything as well.>

Helryx:<And I have the orb chunk.>

AU!Salem:<Alright, let's go.>

Eldur:-takes out one of the unpaired shards, this one being the one used to stab the Feraligatr, and grabs onto it- <Until we meet again.>

Salem:<See you around.>

Helryx:<Goodbye.> -Beat- <Oh! How are you going to get the shard back to me?>

Eldur:<With a chunk of that orb as big as you have there, it's bound to be drawn to you. Or you to it.>

Helryx:<I'll keep an eye out for it.>
