<"... You don't suppose that this would redirect the laser, do you?">
<Pepper: "There's a quick way we could find out...">
-And picks up a cube and begins to carry it towards the laser-
<"Eh? Why not use a more convenient route?">
<Lardna: "... What do you mean by that?">
-And turns on the gravity gun function of the Portal Gun, picking up the other cube-
<Lardna: "OH!">
<Pepper: "That little machine can do that?!">
<"Yeah. It's something that I remembered seeing in some files left over from Pokefutures...">
-And lugs the cube along with the gun-
<"Besides, I think that you'd be less likely to burn a hole in yourself this way.">
<Pepper: O_O "... Point taken.">
-And draws near to the laser with the cube-
<"Stand back for this one...">
-And clumsily lugs the gun and cube up to the laser, causing it to be redirected parallel to the floor into the right wall-
-Noticing some lights nearby-
<"Hmm... I wonder...">
-And attempts to turn the gun, but almost steps into the path of the laser-
<"GAH!">
<Pepper + Lardna: "TRACER!">
<"I'm fine! I'm fine! I just slipped a bit!">
<Lardna: "... Let me handle this one, Tracer.">
-And takes the cube, and redirects it so as to light up two out of 4 gumdrop-shaped lights-
<Lardna: "There! Also, how do I set this down?">
<"That button by your thumb.">
-And sets the cube down, as we notice that the two remaining lights and the receiver are in a convenient line-
<Pepper: "I think that that must be it! Look! Two of the lights lit up by the door!">
<Lardna: "Let's see if you're onto something, Pepper...">
-And uses the gun to carefully manuver the other cube into position, causing the beam to flow through the last two lights and the receiver, opening the door-
<"Now we just need to get the- Oh wait a minute...">
-And notices that the barricade has portalable surfaces that would cause a beam to pass by the door-
<"... You don't suppose that that light has a weight limit, do you?">
<Lardna: "What are you implying?!">
<"Nothing! Nothing! Let's just try it out, alright?">
-And two quick shots later, a bridge of hard light forms between the platform holding the door and the barricade-
<Pepper: "... Let's go find out, then...">

-An Octillery is trying to avoid nodding off in a shallow pan of saline water-
<Grunt!Octillery: "Zzz... I'M UP! I'M U-">
-And happens to catch sight of Hatchet clambering up the remains of the ferris wheel-
<Grunt!Octillery: "SNIPER AT 2 O'CLOCK!">
-And uses Octazooka to attempt to hit Hatchet-

-And a number of ranged attacks burst from the Concordia side of the DMZ towards the Anthea side-

<Anthea!Swanna: "Come on, you lousy runts! If those Concordia jerks want a fight, they'll get one!">
-And even more attacks are lobbed back at the Concordia side, the process repeating until the air around remains of the ferris wheel are dense with passing attacks-

Test chamber 5C
Anyone know how many test chambers we are having?
-The chamber has a vertical Excursion funnel to the right of the entrance, a portalable ceiling panel above the funnel as well as one near the edge of the platform, a switch that only activates with a sphere, and a button to reverse the flow of the excursion funnel. Past the entrance platform is a bottomless abyss that has occasional platforms on it. There are a series of portalable walls in a floorless hall over the abyss that lead around to a corner platform visible from the entrance. It has a button that drops a sphere onto the platform. The two walls of the platform are portalable. The sphere will roll of the platform if not picked up, or placed in an excursion funnel-
Lily: <Uhh, does anyone know what those are? They look wierd... wiiiiieeeerrrrdddd.>

<I dunno. I guess there's only one way to find out.>-Straw puts his hand in the excursion funnel, and it is moved upwards. straw pulls it out-
<Interesting.>
-Straw looks at the button-

-The entrance room has two doors. There is a sign on top of them that says "portal race"--The left course has a series of rooms that all use the same gimmick. There are two portalable panels on top of each other, with a good distance between them. There is a angled portalable panel above the door. The first room of this side has two Portal guns. The door is at the end of the series of the room-
-The right has some orange gel pouring out of a funnel onto a portalable surface on the right, and a ''very long stretch of land to the left, with an angled portalable wall above it. The door is at the end.-

-There is a tunnel with white gel pouring out of it, creating a portalable surface to the left. Also on the left, a small room with a long drop to a nonportalable bottom, but a portalable ceiling. There is an angled portalable panel above the entrance. To the right is a series of platforms over an abyss with one portalable panel each. the first platform is within reach of someone flying out of the angled panel. There are two portal guns near the entrance-

-Cecil is following Zexion, by virtue of not being able to keep up with his father jumping-wise-

-Hatchet is herded south by the attacks, towards a checkpoint in the south, staffed by a Krokorok and a Scrafty-
<Checkpoint!Scrafty: "Hey you! Show some ID-">
-And the checkpoint is hit by an errant Hyper Beam-
-Being struck by the attack, which obliterates a part of the checkpoint-
<Checkpoint!Krokorok: "AUGH!">
-Picking itself up off of the ground, after being knocked down-
-Rather obviously shaken by the abrupt beam attack-
<Checkpoint!Scrafty: "Nngh... Oh... Oh Arceus, I think I'm gonna need a change of pants...">
-Weakly and dazed-
<Checkpoint!Krokorok: "We're under attack! Alien death rays at 10 and 2 o'clock!" @_@>
-And ranged attacks fly out from the southern sector of the DMZ towards the other two, which prompt retaliatory strikes. In the confusion, hostilities between Anthea and Concordia open up once again in parallel as Hatchet dives for the relative safety beyond the checkpoint-

Module D - PEFE That Was (PMD-B)
On a testing track separate from everymon else, a Feraligatr and a Dragonite that haven't been seen for a little while have stopped to rest from the relentless onslaught of tests that PEFE Do S has put them through.
Lake: <Oh mon, Feraligatr weren't meant to fly. Not like that.>
Stratus: <I would have carried you across, but I wouldn't have been able to dodge the lasers...>
Lake shakes his head at the Dragonite.
Lake: <It's fine. You could have gotten me out of that filthy water had something gone wrong, anyway. Not that I would have enjoyed swimming in it.>
He frowns as his thoughts turn to his companions, as well as all the other Pokémon living at the PEFE. Who knows what that evil A.I was putting them through right now?
<Do you think everyone else is alright?>
Stratus shrugs.
Stratus: <I don't know. I hope they are, though. You're not the only one with somemon close to you out there...>
The Feraligatr blinks at Stratus, unsure to who he means.
Lake: <...Who are you talking about?>
Stratus: <Er, Rarity? The Milotic?>
Lake: <OH! Wait...you have a thing for her?>
The Dragonite shifts awkwardly.
Stratus: <...Maybe?>
Before Lake can interject, he flaps back to his feet.
<Anyway, let's keep going. If we rest for too long, that computer might flood the room with Toxic gas again.>
Lake: <Oh, fair enough.>
Dropping the subject of love for the time being, Lake climbs up and follows the Dragonite to the next chamber.
<And for the record, you could have just used Safeguard...>

A portal opened up on the top of a small birch tree. An Elekid was forcefully ejected from it, and the portal closed.
<Prolio> Humhuh... what? Where is this? I thought I was in the Entralink... and why am I an Elekid? How am I supposed to win a battle as an Elekid?
Suddenly, the tree collapsed from the unbalance of Prolio, producing a large crash. Prolio, having nothing better to do, starting wandering around to see if he could find help.
