"...and then he said, 'what is this about a man-eater mon?'" Silent comments offhandedly with a smile. "Can you believe it? One would think we are not very good at handling human resources or something..."

Dintel is striking conversation with Zoltan and Lardna, whom he asks once again if he still "fondly" remembers the Cubone trials.

Dintel: <...I have not had a chance to roll down a tree since then.>

Sol -walks besides Andre: <My plot senses tell me we are getting close... hmmm...>

Some Nidorino can be seen mockfighting ahead. A totally nonrandom Jolteon is with them.

Rex: Whee, let's go then!

Salamence: <You guys are silly~> *chirps* <You can't leave this area for the Battle Frontier; it's blocked off by the Twilight~>

Rex: ... ... ...Oh. *pause* Wait, how did you know that?

<Natrix: "Say WHAT?! ">

<Dahak: "Natrix, hush.">

<Serperior: "Why should I not think of you that way? You fought well, even if I found your insistence on resisting to be a bit foolhardy.">

<Simo: "It is a shrine to the gods...">

<Dreyer: "Yeah! Why wouldn't we step up to defend it?">

<Serperior: You held out against overwhelming odds for half of a year through creative yet noble tactics... Which is more than what I can say of some of my counterparts... Why, had we defeated you in combat, I was prepared to offer the lot of your compatriots positions in my ranks!">

-Rubbing his neck nervously-

<Nimbus: "... That doesn't seem like a good consolation to me... 'Join me, or lose your head.'">

<Serperior: "If I respect an opponent, why would I coerce him to join me? And I've never believed in killing prisoners of war anyways...">

<Nimbus: "... What? But then- How-">

<Teala(?): "... Why on earth would you side with such awful creatures then?">

-Having been getting a laconic empathic explanation-

Tracer(?): "... Okay, I'm interested now... What is this snake's story?"

<Natrix: "And did he always have such a big pole up his- OW!">

-Is weakly Ice Sharded by Dreyer-

<Dreyer: "Be nice!">

-Noticing Luke's hesitation-

<Raikou: "You know what they say about lying to gods, do you not? What is it that you're not telling me?">

Near Route 35

-With an Unamused Expression-

<Lardna: "Yes Dintel, we get it...">

<Zoltan: "But why would the bone lizards be so mean to you all?">

-To Sol-

<Andre: "... Plot senses?">

Pastoria

-has arrived with the group of Pawniard and is half-heartedly looking for others-

What's the harm in letting her touch the next one? Assuming we find one.

Luke takes a few steps back, looking somewhat frightened.

"Urk! I swear nothing important happened that week. Sure, there was that whole thing the week before with-"

He stops himself, not sure whether to mention the whole thing with the alternate universe or not.

"-Nothing! Nothing happened that week. At all. I swear."

In the background, Phyco finishes making another bubble for himself (wincing slightly at the loss of HP), then glances at his trainer, easily able to tell that he's trying to hide something.

Phyco — <He sucks at this.>

Lake — <I know.>

Route 32

-Leering at Luke-

<Raikou: "Did anyone tell you that you're not a good liar?">

-And gives a growl, before assuming a less serious expression-

<Raikou: "So then... Are you going to be honest, or do I get to toy with you some more?">

Near Route 35

Sol -softly pokes Andre: <Hush, they'll hear you! And do things like color your text!> — looks around.

Dintel -to Zoltan: <...Mean?> — blinks — <They invited Pankaja to a party. But the other mons didn't like it too much.>

Silent sighs at Dintel's particular understanding of the Cubones, then notices the Nidorinos up the road. One of them turns around and calls the others to circle the group.

Hamada: <Isn't it Silent! And the other human who understand us... Tracker?>

Pierce -walks in: <Tracer! And he brought Shaun in too!>

The group is amicably surrounded by some 10 Nidorinos and a Jolteon. They start asking questions to Zoltan and also excuse in advance because if the kits come in they'll start scratching and biting him.

After a while, Hamada sits besides Tracer.

Hamada: <I assume you are here to watch over your Dragon?>

Phyco nearly jumps out of his bubble in fright when he hears Raikou entertain the idea of messing with them a bit more.

Phyco — <TELL HER THE TRUTH!!!>

He then hides behind Lake, shivering in terror once more.

"OKAY, okay! I'll tell her already..."

The human sighs, dreading this next part.

"Alright, remember when Dialga went mad and messed with the timeline? Well, ths Cyrus person drove him mad, but that's beside the point. Well, Lake and my Pokémon managed to avoid that and got catapulted into an "Alternate Universe" of sorts."

Phyco — <...What.>

Lake — <It's true...>

"Thankfully they were able to fix things with the help of everyone else. It wasn't that pretty, though..."

Pastoria, ouside Library Tower

-Marmalade dodges another Dark Pulse-

<Okay, so where are you hiding the Tear? In the wall maybe? In a book? In a computer?>

-Marmalade slams into one of the Spiritomb with an Earthquake, bounces off, and Dragon Tails the other away, then dives towards the Library door-

<Serperior: "My point is, before we had the misfortune to encounter the likes of that ogre that I'm sure that your counterparts have not forgotten, many of us joined the ranks of Scolipede and Liepard under the impression that we were helping to make our world a better place for our kind...">

Silent hears Mr. Incognito, as do the Nidorinos; they instantly line up arround him.

"Easy, guys... he is a fellow traveler."

Sol: <A weird one at that...>

"His name is Incognito, not that that would be any weird around here... and the Dragonite is Saber."

The Nidorinos hesitantly growl a hello to the Dragonite.

Lake shakes his head, then steps over to his trainer (Who is also rather frightened), giving Raikou a look he hopes says "Mess with my trainer and you'll get it", but comes out more like "Leave him alone, please?"

"It's alright! We managed to sort things out! Thankfully the Oblivia Beasts were able to give us a hand - er, paw, with that."
