I think some of the others said they'd found two more in addition to one I found, so I'm guessing we've got everything we needed there. Where should we look next?

-As I delve deeper into the cave, more parts of the wall begin to "come to life"-

Envy:<I don't know why, but I feel like I'm being watched.>

-Hex spins around-

Hex:<I don't see anything.>

Talon:Must be the cave getting to her.

Zero:-puts up a rock illusion and and waits for Envy to pass- <BOO!>

Envy:<AHH!> -Instinctively attacks Zero-

Zero:<Ow...>

Hmm... Sendoff Spring?

- Nods -

Sounds like a good place to look.

Veilstone

-Lumos and Xu are talking.-

Lumos: So, you managed to get a date with Lenore?

Xu: Yes!

Lumos: Awesome, Xu!

Xu: We had a steak dinner!

Lumos: Steak? Wow, high-class.

Xu: The strange part was the customers not panicking over the Hydregion in their presence...

Lumos: That's nothing. I once floated into a store and bought diapers without anyone batting an eye.

Xu: Why did you need diapers?

Lumos: Don't ask...

- Meanwhile, Axel and Ruto are looing after Eowyn. -

Eowyn: -walks up to Axel- Play!

Axel: Sorry, I'm not good with kids...

Ruto: Aww, come on, Axel. Just this once?

Eowyn: -looks at Axel curiously-

Axel: Heh. She reminds me of Roxas... Alright. -starts flicking his tail in front of Eowyn, who paws at it- That actually is kind of cute.

Ruto: Yay! -does the Eelektross dance◊.-

Eclair: *picks Kim up by the scruff of her neck and sets her on her own back*

Route 212

After we left Solaceon Town, my mons and I decided to go take the scenic route over to Pastoria. As we walked down the Route, freezing rain making things miserable for us, I decided it was best to recall most of my team and continue moving on foot. I thanked Arceus that I still had my own wetsuit from Oblivia since I certainly didn't feel like repeating my first trip through this Route. (It took a while to get all of that mud out.)

- Nods -

Yeah. There's a portal to the Distortion World within Turnback Cave. Wonder if it's still open even with all this going?

Well, should we get going?

Sure, let's go. -starts traveling-

-After proceeding further into the cave, I come to a dead end-

Well, this is as far as the cave goes.

Aurora:<There's a lot of strange glyphs on the walls.>

Crescent:<They look like letters.>

They must be Unown writing.

-The glyphs start to shake-

Talon:This is bad. I've seen enough movies to know what's going to happen. First, the walls shake, then the ceiling collapses.

-The ceiling begins to collapse, and the glyphs on the wall become Unown-

Unown:-speaking in unison- <WE ARE THE UNOWN OF THE FALLS. WE DO NOT ALLOW PESTS INTO THE UNOWN'S DWELLING. PREPARE TO BE EXTERMINATED.>

Talon:<And this is the part where we run.>

-A wall crumbles revealing a path beyond the dead end-

Over there!

-We dash down the passage, the mass of Unown tailing us-

- Begins heading towards Route 214 -

-I run down the corridor, not caring what is on the other side. The Unown begin to fire Hidden Powers at me-

Gah!

Aurora:<I got it.> -Puts up a Light Screen to block some damage-

-The corridor leads us to a big open area with more Unown on the walls and a blue colored Unown in the center-

Shiny Unown:<So, you're the pests I've been told about. We don't appreciate being invaded by you.>

Look, we weren't trying to invade your home. We were—

Shiny Unown:<Enough! The time for talk is long past!>

-The mass of Unown behind us emerges from the passage and begins to charge a collective Hidden Power burst. Meanwhile, the Unown on the walls awaken and hover in the air-

Talon:And this is the part where they kill us.

-The shiny Unown is absorbed into the mass of Unown, acting as a main eye or sort, while the Unown by the walls charge at us-

Unown Mass:<EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!>

Hex:<We're so dead.>

Route 214

- Umbra and co are following DS. -

-Jeff is in a small café in Cherrygrove, finishing up his dinner, and drinking his third cup of coffee that day-

-plumps is on my head while I'm following everyone-

Not much has happened

-The Unown mass fires a massive collective Hidden Power, while the charging Unown continue to charge-

Okay guys, let's fight back.

-Zero fires a Dark Pulse, Helyrx an Ice Beam, Hex a Fire Blast, Aurora and Envy use Shadow Ball, Crescent uses Protect to block the HP, Talon uses Rock Slide, and I throw a couple rocks-

Unown Mass:-shrugs off the rocks- <YOU'LL NEED TO DO BETTER THAN THAT!> -Is hit with several different attacks- <AUGH!>

-The Unown Mass loses almost all of its HP and falls down, while the charging Unown are felled by the Shadow Ball sniping by Envy and Aurora-

Helyrx:<This is certainly an interesting Unown behavior. I must get a closer look...>

Wait Helryx, I don't think—

-The Unown Mass gets back up, and blasts Helryx into the wall-

Helryx:<Totally worth it...> -faints-

-I facepalm, and recall Helryx-

Unwon Mass:<WE ARE NOT DONE WITH YOU!>

Envy:<I am.> -Fires a Shadow Ball at the Unown Mass-

Unown Mass:<AUGH!> -is KO'd, shattering the mass and sending Unown everywhere-

Well, that's that I guess.

-Mezzo is asleep, as usual-

-Fortis, however, is waking up-

Fortis: Good morning!

-Mezzo mutters something, then turns over in her sleep-

Fool and her mons are following DS to the Sendoff Spring.

^Lenore^: ^Quetzal. I'm just gonna talk to Xu. You don't mind that, do you?^

Lenore flies over to Xu, Quetzal grumbles.
